  1. A late friend of mine, who had grown up in Austria during the 30s, said it best when he commented on the frenzy that accompanied Obammy’s election. “Ja. I have before seen this in Austria with Hitler. The women everywhere their pants were wetting.”

What he was pointing out were the preconditions for a compliant and obedient populace. Once you have that, you can get them to do anything for you.

  2. jordan is an idiot that shops for his wife in a weird way
he needs to clean up his own damn room.
psychologists are cut from the same cloth.
another rule for life free of guys that badly paraphrase Jung and plagiarize what Northrop Frye covered way better than jordan the soviet art collector.

    1. so Jung died in 1961 and Frye died in 1991.
who’s carrying what they said forward?
I’ve often heard Peterson quote or paraphrase Jung,
I’m unsure of your Frye reference.
as imperfect as Peterson may be, he plays a significant role in a TikTok world.

  3. So like bomber pilots, drone pilots and the many other killers of women and children in war. I appreciate the effort to understand human behaviour but it’s past time we moved on from WW2 and looked at the truth about war and conflict itself. That includes the murders we do all over the world.

  4. reminiscent of the millgram experiment.l hasd to honestly say because lm ‘eager to please’ would probably been one of those pushed to the 200V range and agonized over it regardless finding out *I* was the actual subject.

not now. try any that shyt with me l’ll jam the electrodes in yer eyes.

  5. Saw the same thing during covid with people I had known for decades and worked with for years. Civilization is an attractive but shockingly thin glaze over the totalitarian impulse. Give many people the opportunity to display their virtue through obedience and they will do horrible things.
