  1. LOLs.. If they cant keep shanks out of prisons?. But hey, the nanny state feels the need to earn their pay.. Day after day after day.. A society that makes everything illegal.. While it no longer locks anybody up for anything..

Pay your fine and dandy .. That is if you open your door or answer your phone :).. Understand?..

    1. Your generation protesting the war was what allowed the communists to win. Now here we are.

      1. no, what allowed them to win it was fought all wrong.

google operation phoenix. cia were offing loyal southern commanders and administrators. they fell for the same trick nazis used against stalin. north found out about the program and planted evidence.
who *else* would *really* know who was loyal but the north?

it was the ‘get it while you can’ M.O. exhibited by the south participants lost it for them. the highest echelon of US military was utterly unaffected by all those protests during the johnson and nixon years.

  3. I think I have a SAK somewhere in the dark recesses of my tool box drawer which should give you an indication of how much I use it. It was given to me cause lord knows I’d never buy one. If it’s a multi tool with a blade you’re after there are better options and without the cheap ass red plastic.

    “…it’s illegal in the U.K. to carry a knife that’s longer than 3 inches,…”

Not really. If you like your Kirpan you can keep your Kirpan.

  4. I carry a SAK Skipper, and a Leatherman Crunch. Both come in very handy.
In recent years, Victorinox has…transitioned… from a knife company to a lifestyle accoutrement company. I have a couple older ones, as well, even one from before Victorinox bought them out, made by Wenger.

    1. Day to day I carry a Leatherman Squirt PS4 in my little jeans change pocket, and a small Bugout carbon fibre in regular pocket. Both are small enough to not notice any weight or have any obstruction to pockets. I up the size scale if I know I need to for dedicated tasks.

  5. Because I found pocket knives too bulky, I swooned when I saw the Swiss Army card! About the size of a credit card, it fits in my shirt pocket, has about ten mini tools, and I don’t go anywhere without it (it goes in my checked bag for flights). It’s saved me numerous times! A Police friend joked about it being a ‘concealed weapon’, but I retorted that it comes under the definition of a tool, and a magistrate would have to be a real too to proceed on an allegation of possession of such!

This wonderful item, my notebook and contact cards, my pen, and my pocket-sized magnifier l.e.d. light, are always in my top shirt pocket…

  6. Gutfeld nailed it, Swiss knives without a knife, is like Swiss cheese with only the holes.
