Saturday On Turtle Island

Dementia Joe’s America:  A progressive lawyer in Seattle.  Old Joe Biden gives a speech.  China is flooding America with fentanyl.  Biden loses the plot.  This week in really big lies.

Blackie’s Canada:  Justin’s antisemitic CBC.  Destroying Canadian history to please immigrants (CBC).  One of Justin’s CTV pundits wants policing of misinformation.

Today In Islam:  The obscene double standard.  Interfaith dialogue in Somalia.  Meanwhile in Pakistan.

Woke Europe:  A letter from Amsterdam.    Your morning meme.   Another meme.

  1. Why are Maheson and Earle living in a house owned by someone like Caldecott, if his views on immigration are so adhorrent to them? Why not just move to a home with a less steep stairway? Did they not notice the stairway when they bought the house or were they required by the realtor to use the coloreds only entrance at the back of the house? So many questions.

    1. Why wouldn’t they say and do whatever they want?
They know there will be zero pushback.
      Zero opposition.
The “Right”, “Conservatives” “Opposition” has shown to be feckless, gormless, spineless, useless, cowardly and generally missing in action.
      Dead communists walking.
Twas ever thus, twill ever be.

  2. “The couple, who identifies as mixed-race, told the board they only discovered their home was a designated heritage property last year, when they began looking into modifying the house’s steep stairway from the sidewalk.”

This is a lie, as the heritage designation must be disclosed in the real estate documents that they signed.

And just because they believe that the Caldecott was a racist, doesn’t change that it’s designation is based on architecture not the owner.

    1. If they’re that upset with who the original owner was, they should move. If the house no longer has a heritage designation, how does that change the identity of the original owner?

    2. It’s pretty obvious this is about a pair of ridiculously wealthy snobs who want to make changes to their $5M mansion, got told no, and and are now throwing a temper tantrum. They think crying “racism!” is going to be faster and easier than actually fighting to have the heritage designation removed on architectural grounds. And honestly, they can be forgiven for thinking so.

  3. Re “Destroying Canadian history”, an extension of this concept, we could say, demolish the pyramids because they were built by slave labour. The possibilities are endless here and with a small stretch of the imagination can this idea can be extended way beyond the pariodable!

Re “One of Justin’s CTV pundits”, my cousin Bruce INSISTS that he ran in to this Raphaël Melançon guy – umlaut, cedilla and all – at a leather party several summers ago on Fire Island Pines (not that there’s anything wrong with that).

  4. On the paid shill who wants The State,to decree who is to be a “Journalist”..
    Heh.
The same State that wants to tell us what “truth” shall be,when truth shall never cross their lips?
    The State of Thuggery.
And all who serve this State are guilty.
To quote Kit Carson..”Nits breed lice”.

  5. How cute, the fella wants a police agency like Interpol to police the news, good gawd talk about hypocrisy. So where is the evidence that he saw Confederate flags in Queerbec??

  6. Who cares what the Legacy Media wants? They made themselves irrelevant when they chose to lie, spin, and twist the truth. Defund them and shun them.
