Many people have asked why the New Democratic Party (NDP) continue to support Justin Trudeau’s far left policies and tactics? The reason they do so is because for Canada’s Bolsheviks, Trudeau hasn’t gone far enough.
From their beginning in 1932 as the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) – now the NDP after a merger with the Canadian Labour Congress in 1961 – has always wanted to turn Canada into a socialist country. The Regina Manifesto was their earliest blueprint for Canada.
The CCF/NDP have always denied their far left intentions, even though they have committed them to paper on numerous occasions. So it is to be expected that they will deny them today. But once they gain power, they waste no time nationalizing the means of production. The NDP in Saskatchewan nationalized the mining, oil & gas, and forestry industries and made move to nationalize agriculture as well, something they swore they would never do.
Looking at the federal politics today, its is obvious that Jagmeet Singh and the NDP are not just supporting Justin Trudeau’s censorship bills and false promises, they are leading the way.
I remember the Waffle arm of the NDP: angry Trotsky wannabes and Mama Cass look-alikes. Guibou would have fitted right in. I bet you St. David The Planet Healer was a card carrying member.

Didn’t the NDPPPPPPPPPPP take down their waffle manifesto a couple of years ago? I see no line of demarcation between the dippers and liberals, both have become the far left parties.
Stalinists all. I am proud to have been suspended by the Public Service Alliance of Canada for pointing that out once too often and complaining about sending my money to the Dippers. Still had to pay my dues though.
There are currently 275 people employed in the public sector in Canada for every 1,000 in the private sector – a record high. The public sector employees and every one in their households live privileged lives, and consistently vote for parties that promise ever more socialism because under socialism, the public sector always grows larger.
Public sector employees = welfare mothers (and those who identify as mothers)
And as with all welfare programs … no work is required to obtain your benefits
Believe it or not, there are blue collar workers who get dirty and work hard to earn their living but are employed by the government. I was one of them. But what do I know? I needed a job one day. For the most part they do not fit in with those who claim to represent them. However, civil servants are not grown in a vat. I imagine you support cops for the most part. Are they not civil servants? Some people seem to want to paint with a very broad brush.
When was Canada not left?

But that last card of individualism, our vote, remains, and any analysis of that vote explains the current Gritdipshit panic with their ridiculous renters “Bill of Rights” when Canadian voters want their own Magna Carta to shake off the socialist shackles as its incompetencies, excesses and overreaches has finally reached our wallets, not just the poor.

Election must be on the horizon as Trudope is promising more “free stuff” .He can’t understand why someone paying $2000.00 in mortgage payments gets to accumulate equity compared to a tenant that gets no such benefit . Since politics is downstream from culture, the leftist bent of Canadians is a phenomenon dating back to the “red decade” of the 1930s when the “progressives” were into eugenics (Tommy Douglas’s masters thesis) and somewhat envious of the German National Socialists up until the war and their break with the USSR. At this time, “Liberals” were more libertarian than Conservatives. Since then, academia and the cultural industry has been at the forefront of the leftist movement. The McCarthy era, despite it’s actual accuracy in going after communists acting on behalf of the USSR, due to the easily exploited victimhood, made the institutions safe for communism to flourish within academia and the arts. By this time fascism had been rebranded by the left as a right wing extreme as the culture controlled the language. Up until the Trudeau dynasty, the Liberals were a mindless mushy middle-left party that P.E.T. saw as something to capture for his leftist crusade so he jumped from his natural habitat of the NDP to the LPC making that party into an illiberal leftist vessel, bringing with him his Quebec-based leftist mafia (Marshand, Chretien, and Pelletier). Old school Liberals were happy with the power that ensued and watched as their Laurentian Elite-based corrupt political machine adopted much of the Marxist / Fascist policies of the NDP. The Conservatives, with a long history of Red Toryism and fascist tendencies were born again under Reform but always contaminated with Laurentian and populist statism but sufficiently libertarian to be the least worst electable party which is once again poised to regain power.
The NDP is getting their policy preferences enacted as law, everything they want, and the Liberals take the heat. Why would Singh stop this gravy train? He’ll keep it going unless Justin Trudeau completely wigs out. He’s looking at being leader of the opposition after the conservatives win the next election.
