  1. No, former president of Disney films, Sean Bailey, is not “out” at Disney films, he’s being “de-promoted”. De-promoted means being promoted in the reverse direction. In military jargon, a retreat is an advance in the opposite direction.

Mr. Bailey is being de-promoted to being an executive producer of this or that film.

    1. This. The live action remakes were never intended to be hits, they were mostly made to keep the originals from falling out of copyright. That’s not a new tactic; Disney claims they own most of Zorro due to the changes they made in the 1950s TV show. So they were a safe place to engage in ludicrous virtue signalling.

Now that that’s backfiring publicly, they’re shuffling Bailey around to make it look like they’re doing something to appease Peltz and his shareholder takeover.

It’s all smoke and mirrors, and honestly if Peltz does succeed it won’t matter. The company is rotten through and through. The fifty-year-old white guys aren’t going to come back, and if Peltz’s new CEO fires all the woke drones in the Marvel, Star Wars and animation business units there’s no one left.

About the only path forward that keeps Disney at all recognizable is putting some absolute business hawks in charge of licensing Disney’s properties out to third parties that might not be so tainted.

  2. There is one hope but it will be ignored.
If Disney does a new movie that calls out the woke divisiveness sickness death and despair fomented by the Bud Light Gemini AI DEI department Liberal /Democrat woman terminator model and makes a hero vs villain , princess vs witch
, Cruella vs puppies dynamic like all of their movies they will be rewarded.

    1. The first live action dalmatian movie was decent. Of course that was 28 years ago.

Tried watching lady and the tramp. Turned off in less than five minutes. Voices all wrong, lady wrong breed, Jim dear caught jungle fever.

  3. The thing I don’t get is how long can you go losing money? Seems like a very long time.
