    1. Apparently, these Ukrainian soldiers are not surrendering. Rather, a Ukrainian officer is asking all those who refuse to carry out an order, to step forward. They are refusing to get into the meat grinder.

    2. After I found out what Ukraine did as a whole country during World War II, all I can say is “the mills of the Gods grind slow, but exceedingly fine”.

    1. Did you even read the article? More than anything it illustrates what a great sense of humour Russians have!

      1. More than anything it illustrates that Ruϟϟischeschweinen Pediration is an archetypal shithole that would rather wage an aggressive war than feed or heat itself.

        1. That’s the elites, not the actual rooskies.

Russians are little more than pothole filler. It’s been a shitehole for so long, there is little to no moral fiber and no motivation to serve a brutal state.

        2. “….would rather wage an aggressive war than feed or heat itself.”

Holy friggin lack of self awareness, should maybe roll your window down and check out the geography around you sometime.

    2. Ah, censorship, the canadian way.

Foreign aid? Political consultation, drag show?

Trudeau sucks so hard, it’s why the wind comes from the north.

    1. Russian sources are saying three planes (A-50, IL-22, and one other) were fired on by Russian anti-aircraft systems.

      1. Friendly fire is one possibility. But it would be odd for multiple hits. One I can understand two (or three as you say), unlikely. My initial thought was collision, it is conceivable for one to survive damaged… Plenty of speculation what missile it could have been I don’t think Ukrainians would risk Patriot that close to front lines. This leaves S300 or S200, the later specifically designed to hit large slow moving planes far away and nearly useless otherwise… Then there is a theory that Ukrainians jerry-rigged something funny. Like a US SM missile. We know Americans were experimenting with those and F/A-18s so maybe under a Flanker????

          1. Thanks, this is fascinating, it reads like an old Tom Clancy or Frederic Forsyth novel. But then again, if someone told me three years ago that Polish supplied Ukrainian MiG-29s will fire HARMs with targeting data imputed before the plane’s take off, or that a Ukrainian Su-24 will fire Storm Shadow and destroy a russian submarine in a dry dock I would call it a B-movie plot too…

  1. That was an interesting documentary. As fate would have it, I once dated for a short while the niece of one of the very first group of, iIRC, 6 stewardesses hired by American Airlines. They were to be trained and then train the subsequent groups of stewardesses. I got to visit with her a bit at a few of their family get-togethers and on one occasion, she in a mood to tell a bit about those early days. She was an interesting lady.

The first stewardesses were an entirely different breed from the stewardesses I observed in the ’70s when I flew here and there a few times. Then again, the stewardesses of the ’70s are completely different from the ‘flight attendants’ we have today.

Next up – robots, I suppose. “I’m afraid I cannot let you get out of your seat, sir.”

    1. Ha! And now that I think of it, the passengers of today are a whole ‘nother breed. Flying is like a trip to the zoo now… and you and all the animals are in the same cage.

Where are the suits and ties, Sunday best dresses, and gloves?

    1. Just about all of Justin’s agreements are purely for publicity purposes, so he and his obedient trolls can look like they are doing something.

Remember the $400 million anti-air defense system the Liberals bragged they were ordering, and then last April said it was “en route” to Ukraine? Turns out it hasn’t been built yet.

But if Justin wants to send his tampon dispensing troopers to Ukraine, I have no problem with that. Twenty “soldiers” without weapons, without ammo, won’t make a difference.

  2. I enjoyed this summary.
    “Davos Bacchanal Redux”
Xeratti @DanubusKa revealed that between 1995 and 2008, Jeffrey Epstein attended the WEF in Davos, Switzerland on at least seven occasions and he was even listed as a “Global Leader for Tomorrow” by the WEF in 2002.
*** “Just feels a little too… absent of sex trafficking, y’know? Even the journalists this year aren’t enjoying it. Not one of them have even broken a story we’d consider killing them for”. ***

    Beware the First Movers Coalition.

    1. Steve, you beat me to this. The Ms. Iranian MP pulled a Svend Robinson, then blamed her opposition detractors for her thefts. Nice.

One remember the Svend theft. The corporate media, and the left-leanng judge, bent over backwards to fawn over the creep.

  3. Watching Bloomberg News channel this morning, where the news crew is at the Davos WEF conference. Everybody interviewed is bad-mouthing Donal Trump, saying something to the effect that he would be dangerous to world peace and the economy. Got it.

    1. They have to investigate. How else can they insult our intelligence by giving the moron Trudeau a $100 fine for $84,000 of graft? It’s not like this is a $16 orange juice.

  4. The owner and CÈO of Paramount Foods, one Mohamad Fakih, went on a Twitter (X) rampage, slamming an individual for threatening to boycott his stores given his support for Hamas:
    https://torontosun.com/news/local-news/warmington-paramount-foods-ceo-mohamad-fakih-in-hot-seat-after-x-post

Mr. Fakih is in the Order of Canada, but his medal is safe. You see he donates the maximum allowable amount to Trudeau’s Liberal party. For example, on March 15, 2022 he donated the maximum $1,600. Note, that of late, Trudeau has been tilting more snd more towards Hamas.

    1. This is from a year ago:

and there are lots on him at (posted yesterday):

  5. The Ukraine War Needed to End Yesterday
Kennedy’s main thrust was that the war in Ukraine was driven by American desire for a manageable war with Russia.
the Donbas voted to leave Ukraine and declared for Russian sovereignty. The purpose was to have Russia send troops to their rescue. This was because the Ukrainian government had killed around 14,000 ethnic Russians in the Donbas region since 2015. In February 2022, the Kiev Government dramatically increased bombardment of the Donbas. This resulted in the 2/24/22 Russian invasion ordered by Putin.
Under Minsk 2, the West was to have restrained the Kiev government from such actions. Russia/Putin was to do likewise. The West dishonored their agreement. This was a direct provocation, as Kennedy argued, leading to war.

    1. ” This was because the Ukrainian government had killed around 14,000 ethnic Russians in the Donbas region since 2015. In February 2022, the Kiev Government dramatically increased bombardment of the Donbas. ”

Simpletons(tm) take note: this is what a *real* genocide looks like.

    2. Speaking of international agreements, here is a list that russia violated:

      UN Charter 45
      Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty 70
      Helsinki Accords 75
      Belovezha Accords 91–92
      Budapest Memo 94
      Black Sea Fleet Treaty 97
      Friendship Treaty 98
Treaty on Azov Sea & Kerch Strait ‘03
      Karkiv pact ‘10

Probably the last one they honored was Ribbentrop Molotov pact.

    3. It is all nonsense of course and standard Kremlin boilerplate. No there was no genocide in Donbas, genocide is what orcs do now. Regardless, remnants of russian occupation of Donbas were offered an opportunity to join a superior civilization. Once they rejected it they should have been expelled to russia. They do not get to bring russia to Ukraine. Any such attempt needs to be treated as high treason and punished accordingly and swiftly. Besides spreading russism is a crime against humanity.

    1. Scary as hell. Just in time for 2024.

After COVID 19, and the scare tactics? Just how many will take this seriously.

The story makes it sound terrible, with a civilization killing high death rate. It sounds like it could be a new smallpox or pneumonic Black Death?
