  1. Obviously a smart people.. Gonna be curious about what they have up their sleeve defensively. China is obviously nervous about pulling the trigger.

  2. Robert – Boy Wonder:
Alexandre Trudeau can’t believe anyone cares about Chinese interference.”

“The only donation agreement Alexandre Trudeau ever signed for the Pierre Elliot Trudeau Foundation in his 20 years there (for $200,000) is now at the centre of an ethics probe. He doesn’t consider it suspicious.”

“It doesn’t seal the case, but it’s quite the coincidence.”

Trudeau is French for Trust Me!

I wonder if Alexander offers Chinese billionaires access to “the big guy”?

    1. the biggest problem is the existence of the “Trudeau Foundation” and that the government went and gave it $125 million dollars of taxpayer money to a partisan organization that doesn’t really do “charitable works”

    2. Thanks for that one, PHP2. Arrogance, deceit, and stupidity run deep in some families.

This will return to haunt the arsehole as JWR did to his lying brother.

  3. I keep thinking a spray of cruise missiles aimed at the Three Gorges Dam would end China as a modern country. MAD without nukes.

  4. China’s government blunders once again, stupidly trying to intimidate Taiwan’s voters. The Xi Jinping government doesn’t realize their intimidation could backfire and spoil their desired result.

  5. Yes the Taiwan voters don’t want the Chinese Communists, they prefer the existing regime installed by the Global Communists. Taiwan doesn’t have fair and free elections.

  6. Taiwan soon to produce their own A-bomb, as they have the industrial capacity to do so. And the military need to do so.

    1. I’ve been saying for years that, while the Chinese could flatten Taiwan, an actual invasion would be disastrous for … China. A-bomb or not. The logistics of crossing the Formosa Strait would be a nightmare and casualties horrendous.

  7. I bet Hong Kong wished the british gave it back to the Republic of China, instead of the communists who can’t be trusted…

  8. Taiwan is holding a hand grenade with the pin already pulled. All they have to do is drop it if China dares to invade.

    How’s that?

Taiwan is virtually the sole supplier of microchips to the World, including China. If they haven’t done so already, all their chip factories can be wired to blow if China invades. That shuts the World down, including and especially China, for years as the chip factories are rebuilt there or elsewhere. And some of the manufacturing technology will have to be redeveloped. They have some one-off equipment.

    1. And perhaps in those chips to China they have installed the Expiro-matic feature, Backdoor ByeBye.. Heres hoping.

  9. Here is my approach to the China/Taiwan issue.

Yes, I agree with One China policy. But the civil war has not be formally terminated and we are just discussing who will be the final winner. And I note that the Taiwanese China is more successful than the CPC China, and the CPC never paid any attention to the backward Taiwan until the Taiwanese Chinese moved there. Also, Taiwan has more authentic traditional Chinese culture as it was spared the CPC’s Cultural Revolution. Also, how many people has the CPC killed deliberatley or thropugh ideology 50-100 million; how many by Taiwan? Zero.
