The Part I Like Best

About Safe Supply programs is the way it keeps drugs off the street and away from the kids.

In what constitutes a clear trampling of parental rights, British Columbia recently authorized the provision of “safer supply” fentanyl to youth across the province, regardless if parents are informed of, or agree to, this measure.

The provincial government has provided limited access to safer supply fentanyl since at least 2020, primarily through small-scale pilot projects. However, last August the British Columbia Centre on Substance Use (BCCSU), an influential research organization, published protocols permitting doctors and nurses to prescribe “safe” fentanyl tablets to adults and minors. The organization confirmed to me in an email that it had been contracted by the province to produce these documents “to further support clinicians prescribing safer supply across the province.”

    1. Mike, Mike, Mike … “safe” … our government benefactors are making our children … “safe”

Why just stand back and marvel at all the “safe” things our governments have done to us over the last 4 years. Thank you Mama government! You’ve kept us “cosy and warm” … kept us “safe”.

Mama’s gonna make all of your nightmares come true
Mama’s gonna put all of her fears into you
Mama’s gonna keep you right here under her wing
She won’t let you fly but she might let you sing
Mama’s gonna keep baby cosy and warm

  1. Good gawd these people are nuts, now they want to drug minor children? BC has gone so far left it’s become a serious threat to children?

    1. Clearly, the commie NDP want as many as possible, DEPENDENT on Nannystate for their survival. After all, why send them to rehab or even have it as a consideration? Better to have them drug dependent lemmings thanking Daddy Eby for his Free Drugs.
This is a government and senior administrative management, that has NO MORALS and the ethics of jackals.
And more than half the dimbulbs love it, too stupid to see beyond their own narrow views.

  2. Sure, it’s a terrible policy for kids…but it’s a great policy for pharamaceutical corporations that produce the narcotics. Unfortunately, kids and their parents can’t give the kind of “incentives” that politicians and health agencies have come to expect from Big Pharma.

  3. To ensure a meek complaint society, destroy their brains when they’re young. Why this isn’t resulting in politicians and bureaucrats being turned into tree ornaments, means the sheeple are already too screwed to act accordingly.

  4. Absolutely appalling! No wonder we have legislation in two provinces requiring parental consent for under age children to make decisions on gender identity. And no wonder the government of SK invoked the notwithstanding clause to ensure the law would remain as it is. Activists and leftist governments are completely out of control, determined to define themselves as experts who know more than parents do about their children and it appears from this that they have become quite successful at driving their agenda. The fact that this has been done “with no supporting evidence”makes it even worse. And that this was done in such a secretive and concealed manner is appalling. The BC government has gone way too far in their arrogance that they know best. Time for some elections and rid yourselves of these crazed people. We are becoming victims of the “cult of experts.” Call yourself an expert and everyone should just step into line, acknowledge your irrefutable superiority, your right to over ride family decisions and your right to force your opinion on others without consent. It starts with the current federal government and has infected at least some provincially. Who would ever have thought that we would ever arrive at this?

    1. The problem is the so-called Uniteds (Liberals) are in reality pink NDPers.
They believe in NDP policy, just at a slower pace.
Remember, this group of clowns only just recently aboutfaced on climate change when they severely declined in the polls, behind Rustad’s Conservatives. THIS after Falcon fired Rustad for just questioning Climate Change ideology.
Uniteds/Liberals are not to be trusted, they screwed up badly, and, they will have to bend the knee to Rustad to defeat the NDP. Schaudenfreude.
The Liberals/Falcon are too stupid to understand their massive mistake.

  5. I never heard of a program like this so I had to research a bit to see what it was all about. I found this particular purpose in their mission statement rather telling:
    _______________________________________________

flexible client goals (for example, focusing on improving health and not requiring that clients stop using illegal drugs)

    ___________________________________

Now, I’m not an expert on this topic (nor would I care to be)…but could someone possibly enlighten me as to the health benefits of using illegal drugs. Were they not a health risk to the individual taking them or the people they come in contact with…I’d venture to say that they would no longer be illegal.

  6. This program is a no lose scenario for every subset of socialist parasite that infests all levels of Canadian government. The bleeding hearts think that by giving the junkies free drugs they’re saving them from tainted street drugs and taking away their need to steal to fund their addiction. The greenies are happy to further cull the human population. The unions get more dues as new government workers must administer and oversee the programs. Colleges and universities get to indoctrinate more students as programs expand and new degrees created to exploit them.

I could go on but I’m sure you get my drift. Last of all, there’s all the lawyers that will be needed for the law suits, legal challenges, inquiries, inquests and such. Nothing happens without the lawyers getting their taste.

  7. Let’s see, the government won’t allow alcohol sales to minors, not even from safe-supply government liquor stores, but if they want highly addictive fentanyl, no problem.

Call me crazy but isn’t this tantamount to promoting drug use by minors? Doesn’t this send the message that drug use by minors is government approved, and they’ll even help the kids hide it from their parents?

The more drugs are available and the more they are mainstreamed, the more users there will be and the more addicts there will be and the more fatalities there will be.

    This government is insane.

    1. The BC government are marketing agents of the Mexican cartels. What other conclusion could one draw?

  8. There is a big difference between not preventing a drug addict from using drugs and allowing easier access to recreational drugs among young people. If only our repair technology had a “fix stupid” button.

  9. My favourite part is how “safe” supply suddenly morphed into “safer” supply; like global warming morphing into climate change. Both changes tacitly admit to an unsustainable BIG LIE or perhaps more charitably to catastrophic error.

  10. So the provincial government of BC has been taken over by the Mexican drug cartels by the look of it.

  11. This should be under “Its legal if the gov’t does it.”
In a schadenfreude kinda way, I don’t care; The right is all about “standing up” to bust drug users, and now the state is literally feeding the kids fentanyl, that is when they’re not chopping off their dicks. Maybe the right can pass a law against dickless men, but then they’d have to bust half their menfolk! Har har!
The right gets all pissy about pot legalization, saying that legalization = encouraging, well, dealing fentanyl is still illegal, aren’t you happy?
Canadians on the right are stupid, on the left they’re evil.
    Evil beats stupid every time.

  12. When they make it legal they take all the fun out of it.. About as fun on binging on Cheetos.. What a mad mad world we live in..

    1. There is a big difference between “making it legal” and “feeding it to kids.”
I know, those on the right cannot discriminate between the two, and that’s a real shame.

    1. Well duh.
You asked the state to save the children, and this is what you get.
Let this be a lesson to you.

  13. I have seen things you people wouldn’t believe:
-Grown men teaching their 4-year old how to roll joints.
-Crackhouse dealers telling their employees to dump overdosing whores into a dumpster.
-People wanting to kick out an idiot clown for pissing on an outlet in -25 weather, in the middle of nowhere, aka manslaughter.
-Cops trying to bust a guy who is way, way tougher than they are, and being left bleeding on the streets.
The right is just as guilty as the left when it comes to Utopia building.

Well, I got some bad news for ya: There is no Utopia, no matter how many armed goons you deploy.
Neither side seems willing to just mind their own business, because reasons.

  14. Big Pharma going all out for $$$$$$, that’s what this is. Best way to stop it is lead poisoning, very fast lead!
