    Whoever would suggest advancing innovations in carbon capture and storage of fossil fuel emissions instead of more subsidies for renewables had crossed over to the dark side and would soon be ostracised by the community of influencers. When you speak in terms of good v evil in the moral imperative to stop climate change (to right the evils of past generations of unenlightened polluters), the Green Deal becomes a mission of the noble and the virtuous.

      3. Tom Harris is a good friend of mine back in Ottawa. Even though I moved, we still maintain contact, and I can tell you that he makes no bones about the fact that the earth needs MORE CO2, not less. It’s PLANT FOOD, for cryin’ out loud…

        Tom has scientific evidence to suggest that we are not too far from the bare minimum CO2 levels needed to sustain LIFE ON THIS PLANET. In fact, we’re so close, it should scare the bejeebees out of any environmentalists that hasn’t subscribed to the religion of scientology.
