    1. Edmonton’s Eskimos were “white” Eskimos, bad. These are probably “bipoc” Eskimos, good………..

  1. Those tents look awesome. Any idea what one of these costs? I’m sure Castro Jr spared no expense!

  2. It seems like an intentionally created humanitarian crisis.

I’ve gone camping in a tent and had the temperature drop to 8C at night (middle of summer in Saskatchewan at a high elevation park). The tent wasn’t insulated but damn that was cold. I can’t imagine sub zero temperatures for days, weeks or months on end. Inhumane, imo.

The media is filled with stories on the suffering of people in Ukraine or Gaza and, of course, everything Trump. There is very little serious or sustained discussions about the humanitarian crisis of unlimited immigration in Canada or about Canadian families becoming hungry and homeless due to the federal government’s insane immigration and economic policies.

Willful blindness, total ignorance or is the media being instructed (paid) to ignore Canadian issues? That the media speaks Truth to Power is a myth and a sad joke.

  3. It would seem that overwhelming the housing status with socialized human importation to a country overburdened with regulation impeding the building of, well, everything, could be construed as another form of societal vandalism in the form of manufactured “crisis”-rationalized incremental state authoritarianism.

  4. Have one of those Eskimo ice fishing tents, winter one. Slept in it at -25 below with propane heater in my “acquired” army sleeping bag.
I can guarantee you that the day will come if you have any vacant room in your house, you will be forced to accommodate these people. Wanna bet?

  5. See how pathetic Canadian Communists have become?
    The Russians built real villages.
    The Chinese,whole cities.
    Trudeau’s Bunch?
Bunch of high priced ice fishing tents,in a parking lot.
    Follow the money..who profits here?

If we were serious about “homelessness” we might do things to reduce it.
Instead we create more poor citizens and then import a whole bunch of beggars..
If government wanted to make poverty and homelessness worse..
What,if anything, could they have done differently?

    Can Ahh Duh..
    The land of perverse incentives.
    Ain’t Kleptocracy grand.

    1. Oh and I just checked, if you are shopping for an Eskimo ice fishing hut, Cabelas in Ottawa is out of stock…
