Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

"The New York Times link to me yesterday [...] generated one-fifth of the traffic I normally get from a link from Small Dead Animals." - Kathy Shaidle
"You may be a nasty right winger, but you're not nasty all the time!" - Warren Kinsella
"Go back to collecting your welfare livelihood." - Michael E. Zilkowsky
Yeah …. Tell me about it.
I was going to comment but I forgot what it was I was going to say.
heh heh heh H.R.
By the time I press post, my train of thought will have derailed.
I do remember walking through the door, especially after I hit my head on the door frame I remembered the pain but I forgot about going in there?
This tends to become more prevalent as one gets older.
My wife told us to clean up the room she wanted to get something out of it, she said it was so messy that she forgot what she wanted to look for.
SURE…
I read of this years ago and it is very true. Now when I forget why I went through a doorway, I reverse my steps and inevitably remember what I was doing and why.
Threw a cheating girlfriend out the door, forgot why I went out with her in the first place.
That’s a very wise and sound analysis. Whenever I have these “senior moments” … it’s always because I’m juggling several tasks associated with a larger goal or job. I have to reverse my thinking as to what my overall project is that initiated the movement.
Whoever hung that door should be hung.
No, who hung the door should be hanged.
I forgot to open the door.
What a load of BS.
Don’t knock it til you’ve tried it.
