Given that I spent wayyyyyyy too much of my teenage years scrounging for quarters to play pinball, I found this video particularly fascinating.

Your two bits, or more valuable, tips are much appreciated!

  1. I loved that old Bally 8 Ball machine back in the late 70s!!! Lots of rum downrange playing that great game.

  2. Awesome! That video hit every checkbox for me. I’ll just relay my thanks to you, Robert.

And for those of you who never had the joy of troubleshooting a relay-controlled machine where the relay logic diagram is written in Japanese (and you don’t read, write or speak Japanese) and the failure is intermittent, which means one of those little, tiny contacts on one of the relays is dirty or corroded…

…you haven’t missed a d@mned thing! It can drive you insane.

    1. People keep forgetting the eventual electric vehicle tax which will be necessary to replace the lost revenue from gasoline taxes.

  3. Mass shooting in Lewiston Maine.

    It’s bad. 22 dead, over 100 wounded.

He was committed to a mental health facility for two weeks this Summer. He was hearing voices. But they decided he didn’t need to be hospitalized.

  4. When I was a kid, I would take nickels, and pound them to the size of quarters in my basement; on the cement floor with a hammer. They didn’t have to be perfect, but they worked. Then, when I was getting low on pounded out nickels to put into the Space Invaders, Galaxian, or Defender games at Pappas Billiards in Peterborough, I would take my last few pounded out nickels to the laundromat, and get two dimes and a nickel from the change machine they had there.
If you are reading this, Dean. It was me. Sorry. Won’t do it again.
    I was a kid.

    1. James,
You were WAAAAY smarter than me as a kid. I used to take bottle caps and pound them into the linoleum flooring in our basement. Pried them out and they left a very cool pattern in the floor. My parents were NOT impressed.

    1. What is your point? No one is pleased when a mentally unstable person kills others.
Well, other than you and the rest of the Hamas supporters when mental defects kill Jews.

    1. Could be..eh???

      THATS HILARIOUS.!
This terrorist low life has been infiltrating EVERY Western Hemisphere Country for the past 70 yrs….all part of the Muslim Brotherhoods’ “Project”.

Not only are they coming across the Southern US border, many have headed up here to BRAMLA-DESH & surrounding environs. Last weeks country wide Islamic rallies punctuate the above.

  5. Just about all my high school lunches consisted of a bag of Hostess’ ketchup or dill pickle chips, bottle of Hires root beer or Wishing Well cream soda and pinball, lots of pinball. Looking back I feel fortunate to have been there when Space Invaders and Asteroids came out, but to me, pinball is where the nostalgia lies. Summers at Sauble Beach in the late 60’s and early 70’s was every kid’s dream.

    1. Let’s not forget some of his greatests policies like bringing over all the Somali “refugees” in the early 1990’s.

Don’t forget about him increasing “foreign aid” to Pakistan in return for freeing a Canadian named Ahmed Khadr who was in a Pakistani jail over terrorism, but who later after being freed thanks to Canada, died in a battle on the Pakistani border fighting for his close personal friend Osama bin Laden. Yes, Ahmed Khadr was the father of Omar Khadr.

And then there is Jean Jean the Choking Machine keeping his promise to cancel Mulroney’s GST… oh wait, he broke that promise!

Then there was Adscam the sponsorship as well as all the other scandals…

And disbanding the Canadian Airborne Regiment. Like most Liberals, he despised the military.

    1. These reports concern me more than random mass shootings. Good to see some of the donor class putting money where their mouths are and pulling their donations.
