  1. It’s all fun and games until someone has to pull the fire alarm and people have to exit.

  2. How much power does the arena use each year?

Do they have power hookups to the “off-site” renewable energy, or are they grid reliant, which they then pay extra for the “renewable” certificates while getting “unrenewable” electrons?

  3. Amazon bought the naming rights to climate scam arena.

If it uses the same solar panels as amazon warehouses- they are all disconnected to prevent random fires. Purely for show.

But don’t worry. They’ll reach net zero by using ‘captured rainwater’ for the ice surface. Along with paper cups and straws in the concession stands and forcing people to take public transportation by not building a parking garage.

    1. Quite right. Everyone likes the thought of renewable energy. Until they actually have to live with it. It would be amusing to get CEO Tod Leiweke to confess how much solar power he produces at night.

      1. Until the realization that there is no such thing as renewable energy hits them right between the eyes.
