  1. I’m a Nazi…
    Your a Nazi…
    We’re a Nazi…
    They’re a Nazi…
Wouldn’t you’d like to be a Nazi collaborator too?

Registration one and all enforced for your convenience or be fined out of existence and closed down.

  2. It won’t stop by getting rid of the Prime Minister. It won’t stop by changing the government. Behind all of this malovent leviathan called government is a bureaucracy tasked with ensuring its job and pension security. To so such it must grow and metasisize. It says it wants ‘Canadian content’ all the while destroying the notion of what a Candian might be.

  3. Juthtin doesn’t have to try.
Most people are on board with Big Gov sticking its Big Nose in everybody else’s business.

    1. By Jove, you got it.

When the government choses what’s good for it in business, the call it fascism.

      And here we are.

As the comment above noted, the plebeians don’t mind, hell, met one yesterday that was full of government bullshit, and he was not working for it, possibly a rank communist indoctrinated with the ideology.

  4. I suspect that the majority of Canadians are too naive to understand why losing free speech is a problem. They are not just oblivious to the danger of oppressive government polices but, as we saw during covid, very willing to oppress fellow Canadian. Most Canadians are worryingly susceptible to government and media propaganda.

  5. We’re 2.5 years into the shots. We’ll see if any of this really matters in the next year or two depending on whether you believe this was depopulation or not and the timeline.

  6. X is not free speech: I’m banned until I take down my post that all the letters that follow L,G, and B are toxic mental illness.

All it takes is one person to object to what you say, and you’re gone until you remove the “offensive” speech.

    I will not.

      1. I was in the same boat for a joking comment about Trudeau wanting Carey Price dead when Price objected to the gun grab during the anniversary of the “Montreal Massacre”. I refused to take it down for many months but wasn’t accomplishing anything with my stance and eventually did.

        1. Thomas. You included what you actually but up. I can understand what happened because I have facts.
WY gave no or zero facts. How can I make any decision. Maybe he’s a troll who hates Musk and would rather have the democrat/commie rats who seemed to control twitter back.

  7. More anti-freedom via the NDP and liberals. Do they really think companies are going to be forced to air native programs or they’ll be denied access to the peasants? What special rights group gets the next big government push to provide their products? Oh I think we know where Trudy is headed, the left honestly think if they deny the majority access to conservative venues we’ll become leftwing progressive loons. No amount of censorship and tyranny will ever force me into the unhinged world of the progressive leftwing nuts.

  8. Expect streaming services to quietly drop their VPN-blocking technology if this keeps up.

  9. L – “The purpose of free speech is that bad/failed ideas get to die instead of people!”

The Lockdowns and vaxx mandates injured, maimed and killed by violating medical
ethics and suppressing, as much as possible, all evidence of that. Frightening the
general public into mass hysteria/anxiety inhibits the ability to reason. It’s fight or
flight. Flight from any questioning of gov’t. propaganda, flight from the scientific
method, and cancel culture and police state tactics for those who would openly
question, who would dare to speak to, to associate with, to peaceful assembly with
relatives, friends, neighbours. The very concepts embedded in Charters Great
and recent were too dangerous for public discussion. 3 years of living under hardline
Marxism/Fascist blended tyranny. That was a test but also indoctrination mesmerizing
with fear as the viper does to it’s prey before it’s strikes.

The most profound outrage in Parliament was not the cognitive dissonance of all
Parliamentarians giving two standing ovations to a member of the Waffen S.S..
It is the passing of a motion to censor, to erase from Hansard(the official record)
a historical fact of the moral/political turpitude, itself. Pure Soviet Union, pure 1984!

The Canadian Parliament just banned objective truth and being responsible government,
responsible to the citizenry. Only the state dictates what is truth. The abyss asserts it’s supremacy.
Who will face down the dragon of chaos?
The anti-dote is courage, is it still contagious?
Does the example of sacrifice, that built Western Civilization still resonate?

  10. Not to put too sharp a point on it, but I’m rather sure that securing information about registered users to a private company in Canada is a direct violation of your 4th Amendment. Additionally, your Supreme Court ruled this sort of behavior by the police as unconstitutional (2014).

The Trudeau Administration immediately started looking for a way around this ruling. Their result was to say that the decision of your Court does not include subscriber information that holds a “low expectation of privacy.” Additionally, once this primary information suggests something “THEY” find of a suspicious nature…a special warrant is applied to secure more detailed information on the target.

Let me translate for you. The turning over of subscriber information is two tier. The first is a cursory turn-over of general information that has a “low expectation of privacy.” Then if this information suggests anything they don’t like, a warrant is secured to do a deep dive. I suppose the “suspicious nature” will be defined by the topic the subscriber talks about. Which is merely a weeding out of contrary opinions and speech control using law enforcement to assure compliance.

You folks in Canada really need to get off you posteriors and face this one head on. Because, it’s just the beginning.

    1. The Trudeau liberal-NDP government game is to put a rather innocuous sounding law into place with reassurances that the law will only be used for good and pure reasons. Then, once the law is in place, either the Trudeau government or his bureacrats modify the law without oversight and turn into a authoritarian political weapon used to punish critics and dissent. If someone opposes the morphed authoritarian usage then the politicians and media revert to the original innocuous version of the law and accuse you of being racist and bigoted .

This a basically the Motte and Bailey fallacy:

“The motte-and-bailey fallacy (named after the motte-and-bailey castle) is a form of argument and an informal fallacy where an arguer conflates two positions that share similarities, one modest and easy to defend (the “motte”) and one much more controversial and harder to defend (the “bailey”). The arguer advances the controversial position, but when challenged, insists that only the more modest position is being advanced. Upon retreating to the motte, the arguer can claim that the bailey has not been refuted (because the critic refused to attack the motte) or that the critic is unreasonable (by equating an attack on the bailey with an attack on the motte).”

  11. Forward to our glorious future.
The one where the (Proven) Serial Liars decide what shall be truth.
Oh the irony, where a Liberal decides what shall be the narrative..for The Truth ain’t in them, they are liars and thieves by nature.
The default to censorship, lying and thuggery as their natural position.
Of course The Parasitic Overload cannot allow free speech.
All these fat, stupid and stark naked little emperors strutting about, who would rain on their parade and mock their grossness,by pointing out the obvious?

Free Speech and the actual exchange of ideas?
    Very dangerous to a Kleptocracy.
Especially an end-stage kleptocracy such as Can Ahh Duh.
Sheesh we had better shut down all contrary speech,or the poor citizens might notice they are poorer, less free and more stupid than any time in the nation..post nations?..history..
    Oh right.
Scratch that history,it too threatens the narrative and the systemic theft.

  12. Don’t forget the history of Conservative Parties finally being elected and changing little to nothing except the graft recipients.

Vote Conservative and still get Liberals is obviously a long Canadian tradition.

Lies, liars and the fix is always in.

  13. Same ole same ole.. Ban all the better products on the market and you win by default.. But you are also removing your own excuses.. One day you will have nothing to point at but yourself..

Every move by Trudeau regime makes boring Canada even more boring.. Nice to say WAKE UP but as I drove home today I noticed all the pickle heads walking around.. Apparently they are just renting..

  14. I’m more intrigued by the differentiation between first Nations and “Canadian” culture. Why the differentiation? Are first Nations no longer considered Canadian by the government anymore? Or does the government consider first Nations cultural so unrecognizable that they deem it uncanadian?
