Past time for many individuals to be Ceaușescu-ed.
Every time you comply with an irrational edict from government you give away your freedom. Had the majority understood that all of the “covid” insanity was a lie it would have been over before it really got started. All those who complied are to blame.
The assumption for many was that their own gov’t knew what it was doing- that the “authorities” had good reason to take the steps it did to ensure our safety.
Some of us knew differently, but most had no reason to think their own gov’t had indeed, turned on them.
I’m guessing that most won’t make that mistake again. Some will, of course, but I’m betting compliance rates will be very low for any future “pandemics”.
I was one that was slow to realize. I saw the early pictures and video from Wuhan. I believed it, mostly because I thought it was an escaped bio weapon, and the Chinese Communist Party knew it, and had secretly told the West.
My turning points were when I saw the local age demographic data, and with hundreds of people over 70 dying, there were tens of people under 50, and only 2 or 3 under 25 years old. Add in the actual suppression and refusal to study anything remotely resembling a treatment like HCQ and Ivermectin, and I knew something was up.
Well RD you utilized your reasoning skills and came to the truth. The problem are the ones in society today who will roll with anything said by Public Health. Hang in there.
Don’t discount the return of coercion. Many who “made that mistake” would have lost jobs had they not complied. Let’s not forget how determined the fascist left is to reduce us all to subservience. I fear that turning the tables on the leftist terrorists is the only way out of this “done deal”.
Possibly, evolution has brought about the spineless hominid. Identifiable by the yellow streak where a spine should be.

Pretty sure there wasn’t much “fighting” done on behalf of canada, especially after the trudeau constitution, which was modelled after the Soviet one
A “Charter of Rights and Freedoms” where the very first line says these “Rights” can be suspended.
When I first read that in the 80″s I new it was a piece of crap. It actually limited our rights accumulated under the Common Law.

I remember the Project Veritas reporting earlier this year I believe about the number of senior citizens that were surprised when they were told that there were records of them donating to a political party.
I also remember that there was some mention of small donations to Obama back in the day that because of the size of the donations it wasn’t in anybody’s interest to investigate.
It is not so much as puppet governments as it is crooked, corrupt governments run by crooks gaming the system for their own advantage and we are too law-abiding to rise up against them.
