  1. Imagine how many more kids aged 10-18 would have died if the kind, caring Liberals didn’t take the brave step in de-criminalizing those drugs?

    What? You say children 10-18 are too young to be making these decisions?

    Well, the teenagers and children are old enough to take puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones. Why shouldn’t teenagers be allowed to take drugs just like adults do? They should be allowed to live their best childhood the way their teenage minds think best. Who are we to limit their choices?

    1. rd – exactly. The response from our intellectual superiors would be, if the opioids were regulated by the government the kids would be OK. It states as much in the article, “More than 1,000 lives lost to toxic unregulated drugs” which are even more deadly because of “the profit-driven unregulated market”. Capitalism is killing the kids.
      The biggest contributing factor may actually be the loss of judeo Christian values and the subsequent breakdown of the traditional family. That, and schools telling kids that all their problems are because they were born into the wrong body, which the government will fix for them at no cost.

    And do you know what happens to the regulated drugs that they give out for free? they are sold so the addicts can get a better high with the unregulated drugs, and the police are forced to look away while street level drug dealing takes place outside the “safe injection sites”

    2. And let me add that Communist China is the primary supplier of these drugs. It’s hard not to believe this is an extermination plan for Westerners. Yeah … if they weren’t communist darlings … the UN might even call it genocide.

  6. No, no, no. The NARRATIVE has not been adhered to, get it right everyone!
    TOXIC street drugs are killing kids and people. Not gubmint dealt hard drugs, only TOXIC street drugs!

    The level of rationalization, co-dependency and coddling of the drug addict class is short sighted and frankly, nauseating. Current government direction continues to be a massive, expensive failure, and their only continuing response is to always double down on failure.
    Current strategy is based on bleeding hearts, assisting the addicts to continue their addictions! There are no consequences of their dysfunctional behaviour, so, why should they change? Drugs are now free, legal, and they are openly using on the streets. This is MADNESS.
    It’s no surprise that the problem continues to get worse and worse. For current socialist governments to reverse course would be to admit failure. This at the expense of the continued additional dead addicts. That’s who the mummies should be mad at at, using their kids, for the “kind hearted” socialist agenda.
    Clearly, the government’s Drug Strategy is a massive failure, obvious to everyone but the drug mummies, government and their lapdog propaganda media.
    Just search YT for Vancouver DTES street walk. There’s several videographers that walk the DTES everyday and post vids. It’s beyond disgusting, how this situation has spiralled at the same time socialist governments CARE SO MUCH.
