1. Doug Ford is worse than NDP. Conservatives would come together to fight NDP. Ford has corrupted the conservative cause, his group is a 5th column. New Blue was the better option than PCs last time and will be again. Sooner the PC party is dead, the better.
   Do you miss Wynne yet? Ford is Kathleen Wynne in a fat suit.

   This behaviour by the state is just plain tyrannical. Seize and destroy a farmer’s meat despite no health complaints, no customer complaints. His only sin was that he was daring to process the meat himself instead of sending it to a USDA approved facility. And the speed with which the state acted was truly something. From initial visit, to search warrant, to seizure order, to removal of the meat, all done within weeks.

   I genuinely see no cure for that shy of revolution.

   The correct answer is liberal democracy — majority rule balanced by strong individual rights that the majority can not easily override.

         1. Democracy is just a fancy word for “mob rule”. You always hear Democrats talking about “saving our Democracy”, but never “saving our Republic”.

            I’m sure that’s because they don’t see it as in their interests for people to know that the United States is not a Democracy, it is a Republic and, especially, to understand the difference.

            1. It’s not an either/or thing. A country can be both a republic and a democracy. There’s even a phrase for it: “democratic republic”.

               Not sure why Republicans, particularly those further to the right, go on and on about the point as if it proves something. All it does is make people nervous.

   Who remembers seeing Ford during some of his earlier plandemic press conferences/announcements looking like a hostage reading his captors manifesto? It looked so unnatural as to be surreal, especially when contrasted with his brother, who, despite his personal weaknesses, had a proven record of public fiscal restraint and low tolerance for the kind of government funded frivolities that fat Doug is now promoting. Like Justin, Dougie isn’t smart or very articulate, but Dougie appeared very uncomfortable, unlike Justin who’s happy to be the vanguard (pun intended) of the new feudal order. But Dougie now seems to have made peace with his situation and is governing Ontario in a way that is alienating his base and jeopardizing his party’s electoral chances.

   The big question is why. Why is Doug (and nearly all western leaders) governing this way? Why would he do this after 15 years of Mcguinty/Wynne? The electorate had 15 years of eco-green, big government, big debt, woke paternalism and finally punished them and rewarded Dougie.

   1. Ultimately Doug has proven repeatedly he simply doesn’t have the spine to stand up to the left. His principals aren’t very strong and he’s largely the beneficiary of being Rob Ford’s brother and being in the right place at the right time to capture first the PC leadership and then the premiership. He’ll go down as a middling to bad premier and no friend of liberty.

      1. Middling? Come on, Ford is just awful. Spend, spend, spend. Debt, debt, debt. Overseeing the destruction of public education. Implementing wokism. Corruption big time. Shoulder to shoulder with Trudeau. Freeland best possible fed finance minister. Forcing municipalities to house mass immigration (500,000 per year). Corporate cronyism.

   On the other hand, as is their want, the so called ‘journalists’ are the absolutely last to know. They seem to be least interested in the news of what is going on. One would think that it is self preservation act, they stick their head up and whack-a-mole gets into the action to suppress the truth that may get them in trouble.
   There was a saying in the former Soviet Union, that the proletariat pretended to work and the communist aristocracy pretended to pay them.
   In very much the same fashion, the media cartel tells the plebeians the pretend truth and the plebeians pretend that it is so.

   So, as it is then, everybody is happy go lucky in the land of the lotus eaters, except the those that are interested in the affairs of men.

10. Propaganda, “it’s not what you say, it’s what you don’t say”.

    What is not being said is that this variant is no more dangerous than the common cold. A few days of sniffles and that’s it. The vaccine also enters the bloodstream, the virus enters the lungs, and takes 7-9 days before it even enters the bloodstream where it would encounter the vaccine. By that time, it has already multiplied and infected other people (with a few days of sniffles).

    Also not said is whether this “vaccine” has been proven effective by actual tests, or proven safe. The last “vaccines” have been proven, that is, proven far more dangerous than the current virus which is no more dangerous than the common cold. Did you know that there are 200 different varieties of the common cold? Did you know that many used to be dangerous diseases that mutated to be more infectious but far less dangerous? Did you know that 4 of them (now 5) are coronaviruses?

    BTW, there is one way this virus can be dangerous, like the common cold, it can be dangerous if you also get pneumonia. How you get pneumonia is simple, wear a mask, pneumonia is proven to breed in masks (as are many other dangerous diseases). Our glorious leaders will want to thus mandate masks, and then say “see, people are dying!” Then they will mandate masks (and useless vaccines) harder.

    A question, if the virus is now basically harmless (it is), and if the vaccine hinders it (I know of no proof that it does), the vaccine is currently basically harmless, do we want to change that? We will change that if we force it to mutate.

    Here is a scenario that happened. There was a coronavirus, it infected cats. A new “vaccine” was given to the cats. The virus used the vaccine to enter the cats cells, and every one of the cats died. This is known as “case nightmare kitty”. If we keep giving unproven MnRA “vaccines” to stop the common cold, and force the virus to mutate over and over, what will it mutate to? And since the danger of the virus is now fictional, that is exactly what our great leaders are doing. And they WANT “case nightmare kitty” because it would give them back the ultimate power they had for a few years there. The power to ignore the constitutions of many countries and take away life, liberty, and property without due process of law, in fact, often without even making a law.

    And they are doing this for one reason. Because they did it before and you let them.

13. Regarding “Biden orders new Covid jabs for everybody”:

    Fascism pure and simple. This is just taxpayer money payola to Big Pharma with 10% for the Big Guy and cuts for a lot of other Congress critters and bureaucrats.

    “Let’s Go” Brandon cannot order anyone, let alone everyone, to take the jab. But he can order the goobermint to BUY a dose for everyone in the U.S.. (I’m writing this from a U.S. POV.)

    There may be enough unspent Covid money left to buy ~330 million doses. If not Gropin’ Joe will get Congress to appropriate the funds to buy the jabs. Our selfless, patriotic [SPIT!] will approve the money for some BS altruistic reason, but they will all be getting their cut for their ‘Aye’ vote.

    After that, no one in DC gives a rat’s patootie if anyone takes the jabs. They have their rake up front.

    Now the WEF-inserted commie GEBs (Government Evil Bastards) will push the jabs nine ways from Sunday in the hopes of offing another portion of the population.

    The courts are slow, but in the aftermath of the original Covid power grab, the courts have ruled that most all of the various mandates and restrictions were illegal. (I think there are still some cases in the courts as the agencies keep appealing the decisions to cover their @$$es and justify their tyranny.)

    Don’t take the jab if you don’t want to! They can steal taxpayers money buying the jabs but they can’t mandate that anyone must take the jab.

    The pollies and businesses have skimmed or made their misappropriation of taxpayer funds up front. They don’t care. If you are threatened or coerced trying to get the clot shot into your veins, “Better call Saul.” There’s too much legal precedent out there now and the ambulance chasers will be more than happy to get some money for you and themselves.
