  2. Dolly should probably stay in her lane. I was impressed when she declined the nomination to the Rock’n’roll HoF. This is beneath her and unnecessary. It’s not like she needs the money, is it?

    1. Maybe she should have led with a Cyndi Lauper collaboration, Girls want to have fun. When you have Dolly’s money and history, why not do something like this?

  3. They put her in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame so she thought she should actually do a rock album. Mind you none of the rappers in the Rock Hall of Fame ever did. Neither did Leonard Cohen. The Rock Hall of Fame is bullshit. Too many real rockers missing and too many non-rockers in.

    1. Too bad. “Stick wit’ the girl [boy] what brung ya.” Parton is a very good song writer. And a fine musician, on a whole handful of different instruments, besides her singing, of course. Heard her in concert at Artpark, Lewiston, NY, about 7-8 years ago. THE best non-classical concert I’ve ever heard.
