    3. 100% failure rate you say? Appears to be true. One of my cousin’s grand-daughters thought she was a dude. Now she’s dead at around 20. Has any mental health professional ever came to a somewhat obvious conclusion than trans people are mentally ill and should be treated for mental illness? Cutting off their balls to treat a problem between their ears makes no sense.

    1. rrd – when he said recent model Canyons are as big as a full-size pickup of the 70s I tuned out. I had 9 teenagers in the cab of my dad’s old half ton and it only had one row of seats. Try that I’m a Canyon with two rows of seats. They don’t make 4 cylinder stick shift quarter-ton pickups because not enough buyers want a tiny gutless gas guzzling utility vehicle with less cargo space than a 1970 Impala and not big enough for three adults. Not when you can get a Canyon with a 310-hp turbocharged 2.7-liter inline-four engine with 430 pound-feet of torque bolted to an eight-speed automatic transmission, and, 7500 pounds of towing capacity.
      However, with the western governments’ move to eliminate personal vehicles, even those old 4 cylinder quarter -tons will be in demand.

      1. I grew tired of waiting for a new Canyon to arrive to an Edmonton area dealership and elected to go with a new Honda Ridgeline. Not to mention the Canyon/Colorado is in huge demand with the recent redesign, I think I made the right choice. Admittedly the Ridgeline is barely a pickup,but after 1600 kms, it’s a solid build, plenty of power for my needs and if I need to run out and buy a new appliance I can haul it home. I had my heart set on a Canyon Denali, but I got the Ridgeline Touring edition for over $10K less. Safe bet that the Canyons will be going for full MSRP. (Or higher like the new Corvette buyers are enjoying)

  9. I got a guitar amp back from repairs and found a list of needed parts written on the back of an Eagles ticket. I was concerned my amp had been fixed by an Eagles fan.
    As one critics said – slick, glossy and and false.

    The perp is one Kenneth Grant, aged 44, who had shot at police before the police set Bingo on the guy. If one looks up “Sophonias Haile” on Linkedin, one finds that he is black, a liberal arts graduate from York University who, once graduating, undertook practical computer courses to become employable.

    No mention about the race of perp Kenneth Grant. But white on black murders are exceedingly rare, one would think Mr. Grant is black. But one can be sure the corporate media will be disinterested in covering the handling of justice in this case. Street crime in Toronto is not that important to the six-figure-salaried media suits.

    We didn’t need further evidence that Toronto was a better bet for the Conservatives than Quebec and that their focus on the latter was insane, but we got it anyway.

    1. UnMe – it only matters if an election is called. If one is called, the big MSM election machine will kick in telling Canadians that the wild fires will burn the country to the ground if the Conservatives are elected. They could still win though because who the hell actually listens to the MSM?
      But I agree that more focus on Toronto is warranted. They can’t ignore Quebec of course. Thanks for the good news on polls.

    During my first three years as an low-income immigrant, from 1970 to 2974,I lived in a hippie-artisan section of Ottawa. The hippies would often shoplift, and their motto was “never shoplift from a small, immigrant-run business”. Meaning: they would beat the crap out of you.

    Which leads me to this anecdote from about 30-40 years ago. A Vietnamese fruit and vegetable store in Toronto was repeatedly shoplifted by a young black man. The owners called the police, but all they would do was to come after a delay, write a report and do nothing. After repeated thefts the owners got fed up and grabbed the guy, beat him up, hogtied the thief, then called police. So the police arrested the OWNERS and let the perp go. This raised a ruckus in the media (this happened a while ago, when the corporate media actually opposed crime). As I recall the Vietnamese shopkeepers got off.
