  1. Modern male country singers need to lose the fake singing accent. They all sound the same. It’s like a caricature

    1. The “new country” fakes sound the same.
The real modern ones are well worth listening to. Guys like Chris Stapleton, Colter Wall, Sturgill Simpson, Marty Stuart, etc.

    1. When I hear some dipshit mouthing crap like this, my first question to them is, yeah? What caused that record-breaking temperature 125,000 years ago? They usually STFU pretty damn quick.

  3. A decade? So, does that calculation include the new battery that will be required at around the 7 year mark? Asking for a friend…

As an aside, I know of no business that would consider a decade an acceptable breakeven term on an investment. Why should consumers?

  4. Bullshit. Growing up in small town Alberta back in the 70’s there were asshole RCMP members. The only thing that’s changed is that there are now even more of them.

The RCMP Failed Canadians at Kamloops

The RCMP has a long and honourable history, and has served Canadians well.

    1. It’s over for the rcmp.

Policing has radically changed and a police force that patrols provinces but answers only to the federal government is reductio ad absurdum.

Admitted they are lousy at municipal policing and want out. Let them go. Police who have to answer to the community they patrol are much more effective.

  5. A Canadian, Micheal Woods, won today’s stage (9th) of the Tour de France. I think this might be the first time a Canadian has done that.

A member of the US House Intelligence Committee said that a bioweapon is being created that uses DNA to kill specific people.

Speaking at the Aspen Security Forum, the congressman warned people not to so casually give their DNA into the hands of companies.

“You can actually take a person’s DNA, make a medical profile of them, and develop a bioweapon that will kill that person, remove them from the battlefield, render them useless,” Crowe said.
