      They think they’re narcissistic God’s and can never be satisfied with the sacrifice of mear mortals.

4. You can’t buy wealth. On some Indian reserves with oil the kids get a small fortune when they turn 18. They spend 100 grand on a new pickup and party until the rest is gone. Pretty soon their net worth is nothing. Pulling a culture out of poverty is not easy. It involves education – real education, not gimme diplomas. It involves cultural role models that tell a minority they can succeed in society. It involves a feeling of intergenerational support and wealth creation. Ensuring my kids have university degrees is as important to me as my degrees. Same for my grandkids. Several generations of my family may not be wealthy but they are firmly middle class.

   Ya, but if the small businessman (a capitalist) becomes a really big businessman, he all too often uses gubmint regulatory appartuses to crush his up-and-coming small businessman competitor; IOW, he becomes a fascist.

6. Re Babylon Bee – Tent Hunting in California. Funny but sad. I have cousins (now retired) living in Fresno and Stockton. They are retired and their kids (with grandkids) have all moved out of state. The parents don’t want to move to somewhere else because “weather”, so as long as they can still afford air conditioning, electricity and gasoline, they cling to their slowly crumbling lifestyle, and fly or drive to visit their families.

         No place is perfect, because everywhere has humans in it. Humans are dangerous and volatile, particularly when they organize into criminal gangs, or most especially the government crime cartel kind of gang.

         I do know that there is an entire class of youtuber far, far richer and smarter than me, (Doug Casey being just one example), that has expended effort to get out of the US and go to places that supposedly people are fleeing to get to the US.

         I just realized the other day that the majority of financial youtubers I subscribe to are expat Yankees. George Gammon recently did a few videos describing the rapid breakdown of society in the US. It’s happening. The decline can’t continue without serious repercussions generally. What scar commented about “first nations” endemic poverty of mind and spirit and culture can happen even to the non-natives.
