China’s Chew Toy

Globe and Mail- China’s Vancouver consulate interfered in 2022 municipal election, according to CSIS

A Jan. 10, 2022, Canadian Security and Intelligence Service report viewed by The Globe and Mail outlines how China’s then-consul-general, Tong Xiaoling, discussed mentoring – or as the report quoted her, “grooming” – Chinese-Canadian municipal politicians for higher office to advance Beijing’s interests.

  1. Since Stewart is a Dipper, I am not sure why the CCP wouldn’t push for him and instead help a businessman. I always thought Lieberals and Dippers stood in awe of the CCP.

    1. Indeed, so those scum are not a problem for the commies. They’re natural allies and penis scabbards for the commies.

The commies are spending their money on buying new friends. And they must be cheap and plentiful.

      Pathetic.

  2. Is it possible that the CCP own every politician in the Province of British Columbia including all Mayoral candidates..?
Perhaps Globalist Stewart wasnt jumping high enough and destroying the city fast enough for his Chinese handlers.
Sim seems to be a Globalist as well, just a better liar than Stewart.

Stewart is no way the “good guy” in this story, he is a corrupt Globalist POS.
Vancouver and BC remain under attack.

  3. L – The bigger problem isn’t with the C.C.P. bribing/infiltration of
Canadian politics. It is electing Canadian politicians, who are so easily
bribed. Who must already be bereft of Canadian patriotism.

Canada is a colony of China. Until Canadians decide Canada is worth
saving. I’ve seen the enemy and it’s us.

    1. I seem to recall Al Capone opining that congressmen and senators were not just easily bribed, but more cheaply than any other kind of official.

    2. How can one be patriotic about a corrupt, weak, selfish, infantile country like Canada? The most patriotic thing would be it’s utter destruction.

  4. David Johnston is chair of the Rideau Hall Foundation
    https://rhf-frh.ca
On this site, they say they received $20 million from the Government of Canada.

    Among its Board of Directors:
    David Johnston
    Dominic Barton
    John Manley
    Mark Carney
    Dalton McGuinty
    Beverly MacLaughlin

    1. President and CEO of the foundation is Teresa Marques.
Former advisor to Trudeau from SNC fame was Elder Marques

Is that a common name like “Smith” in Ottawa or is it a bit of a coincidence

        1. WOW. Now if only the media in this country could (or would want to) report on all these tentacles.
          This country is messed up.

    2. Hm. The ultimate Liberal insiders. The rapporteur status of Johnston was a good ploy by Butts, as most Canadians only remember him as G-G under Harper.

Looks like Trudeau has gotten away with another scandal.

Btw, have you any info on Johnston’s pay for this job?

      1. ” The rapporteur status of Johnston was a good ploy by Butts, as most Canadians only remember him as G-G under Harper. ”

It seems to have failed though, since some of the major news outlets have picked up on the fact that Johnston is a long time Liberal and even now chairs the board of the Rideau Hall Foundation. Expecting an ‘unbiased’ report from him is laughable.

  5. “We’ll have the effin morons voting for us for the next 200 years!”
    -The Uniparty.

  6. You can take the Chinaman out of China but you can’t take the China out of the…Liberal Canadian Traitor.
Is our cold civil war ever going to start warming up?

  7. There’s as much chance of Dim Sum Johnston finding the real culprits as OJ Simpson finding the real killers.

  8. More of Canada getting what it deserves, good and hard.
When 1/3 the population thinks trans women are women, 1/3 the population think heat pumps don’t work, and the rest all agree that banning cigarette vending machines is fine, one can safely say that there is no hope.
It’s just too bad that it had to be the Chinese.
I would have preferred being annexed by Russia, as they like hockey, bar-brawls and eating steak, as opposed to eating insects, bear bile and bats, but that’s the way the ball bounces.
    Oh well.

    1. This is far from the worse indignity inflicted on the Canadian people.
This is just another example of the level of corruption whose secondary purpose (after the primary purpose of seizing money and power) is to make political hay out of it to give the idiocracy that is Canada the wafer-thin illusion of choice.

  9. Whoever made up the spy story has never spent much time in Vancouver. We have an overabundance of snooty private school kids around here, and the absolute last thing any of us want is a mayor who constantly acts like one. Even socialists get tossed overboard if they behave like that all the time.

If we must concern ourselves with Chinese villains who made mischief in Canada, how about Steve Bannon’s recently arrested sugar daddy Guo Wengui. Maybe the Liberals could finally give us some more details about this story from a few years ago:

  10. If there is sufficient evidence that law was broken the Vancouver police should be investigating.
Waiting for the government to react and a chorus of opposition critics to make hay out of it won’t do a damn thing.

If the police are not investigating ask why.
