  3. What a stupid, dimwitted moron. It’s irrelevant as to whether or not she’s Dutch or any other ethnic variety. The only question is how many Chinese citizens were shipped into her riding to vote for her or were strong-armed by the PRC “police stations” in Canada to vote as the PRC wanted.

    It doesn’t matter whether or not David Johnston is honest (likely he is). But what will easily ensue is years of procedural and various other legal delays which will spin things out for many years to come before it even starts hearings. The ability of Telford and the rest of the PMO to spin this out to prevent anything useful from ever starting is practically infinite.

      1. Spouse used to work in minerals exploration and spent some time up along the Mackenzie. It was the company policy to hire locally and there were interesting talks after supper as they all relaxed. The take spouse got from the locals was that the LAST thing they wanted was to have the project totally shut down. Rather, they wanted in on the work of building the pipeline as opposed to just standing by while imports did the job and – further – received training to qualify for ongoing work (maintenance, etc.).

      My home riding. She is one of the basement liberals, was perfectly happy to hide in her house (about 10 K from Parliament) the whole time. She has some minor position on some committee, even the liberals find her too stupid to put anywhere even close to important.

  16. That’s my MP. Mainland Chinese are the 2nd fastest growing ethnic community in this riding, after the Punjabi community. If she genuinely believes the Chinese community have no influence in this riding she may be in for a surprise in the next election.
