  1. Once the artificial conditions created to drive the price of meat above the price of “beyond meat” occurs, the poor will begin to eat bugs.

    As planned.

  2. My son raises grass fed beef, Angus Hereford. His daughter raises chickens, ducks and geese.
Also has anyone noticed the poor quality of chickens for sale.
I refuse to buy chicken from the stores, very poor quality. I am sure it is repackaged Chinese chicken.
It says product of Canada, but when you phone the company, they say, no it comes from USA and is packaged in Ontario.
I know USA does not require that food have an origin label.

    1. I still remember when Co-Op recently changed their board of directors (within the last couple of years) and then immediately changed their suppliers.

I have little doubt their agenda was to attack Canadian suppliers regardless what their cover story was.

  3. Well a counter offensive ad campaign could be started, and we’ll all be dining at Wendy’s:

    “Where’s the BEEF?”

    Cheers

  4. Just put half of a Hereford/Angus steer in freezers last night. Shook the farmers hand on closing the sale. He will call me when he has another ready for me. Pat will call when she has chicken for sale. No crickets for me. I know the farmers who raise my meat. Sometimes I get to help butcher it.

    1. Smart. Become as self sufficient and unplug from the Globalist Matrix as possible. And earn to shoot and love shooting and hunting.

    2. Yep, bought a side of beef last winter for the freezer from a friend. Get to know your local farmers and support them. My goal is to be staying out of grocery stores almost completely by year end.

    3. DLM, just picked up 1/2 Black angus beef. Our farmer has been our beef provider for a decade. Grass fed and finished. Chickens, pork are sourced from another local farmer. Vegetables are grown here at our property. Grocery stores are used for canned goods, seasonal veg that cannot be grown or stored over winter. We are trying to be as self sustained as we can.

  5. Covid policy malpractice and green energy is killing the golden goose.. Our? present crop of useless politicians need to go ASAP..

  6. If one is against meat, why would one even eat the fake kind? That is the question I asked my former pot-head son-in-law. He was angry I respectfully declined the “Beyond Sausage” he cooked. So much for pot making you mellow.

  7. Had dinner with family on the weekend. The main course was Prime Rib. While one g’daughter was gleefully chomping down on a chunk of rib, her partner snapped a photo of her. When he showed it to the table, I remarked that this was the former vegetarian, to all round laughter.
Like Mike T, I’ve often wondered why they go to so much trouble to mimic the real thing. Same as gluten free cookies – yuck, like eating sawdust.

  8. Not to worry … the only major stockholders in FAKE meat are CAL STRS and CAL PERS. And they’re going bankrupt anyway. ESG investing in a bleak future. Yeayyy … *cough* *cough* …
