When you think of great pizza, what comes to mind? New York City? Italy? What most of you likely don’t realize is that the greatest pizza in the world is to be found in New Haven, Connecticut. Here’s a documentary about 3 special restaurants there: Pizza, A Love Story. Warning: Don’t watch this on an empty stomach! 🙂

    1. Saw the movie. Average.
      Went to the actual place in Mystic, Connecticut. Had a pizza. Quite good. Not revolutionary. Would go again.

    2. Mystic, Connecticut is 55 miles east of New Haven. I recently walked past Mystic Pizza. Didn’t sample their offerings though.

  7. Does anyone want to discuss the ceasefire proposed (ordered?) by Pootin over Orthodonkey Christmas (7th of Jan)? Lots of links around, so I won’t bother adding one. Looks like Ukrainians told him to go in the same direction as the infamous Russian warship with his ceasefire.

Well, the Ukrainians allege that the enemy is planning to blow up a few Moscow Orthodonkey churches in Donbas with lots of Orthodonkey believers inside celebrating their (literally) retarded Christmas and then claim that it was a heinous Ukrainian attack. This should supposedly incentivise the Russian population into joining the war effort. If true, it’s a very dumb move that’s not going to work; Russian religiosity (except for Muslim religiosity) is as fake as everything else Russian and most of them won’t give a hoot.

            Also:
            Ukrainians have no agency they are all just WEF/Soros/Davos/Bilderberg. Schwab/Illuminate/Reptilian puppets.
            Moskva was sunk by a missile battery operated by western SF team (because that is SF units do).
            Ukrainians shelled their won nuke plant in provocation while inspectors were there (special points for that being repeated above).

            As for Ghost of Kiev, look up Colonel Oleksandr Oksanchenko aka Grey Wolf. The man was a legend, died over the skies of Kiev. They don’t need fake heroes.

    For those who have problems with orc names and ship classes. The first is Kirov class nuke powered behemoth, the largest class of currently operated fleet warships by any navy sans carriers. The second is their only carrier (the one that sunk together with a dry dock once).

    1. Russian Navy is as idiotic as their ships’ names (and their lingo in general) – Admiral Kuznetsov can be translated as “admiral of blacksmiths” and their current pride is Admiral Gorshkov, which nicely translates as “admiral of pots”.

        AAAAAAAAAAAA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Nakhimov is the second reworked Kirov-class; the Russians have been spending a fortune on it for several years now. The Kirov class were the “big, scary battlecruisers” that resulted in the U.S. reactivating the Iowa-class battleships; there were to be six Kirovs, but only five were laid-down and the Soviet navy could only afford four of them so the fifth hull was given to the space effort. Of the four naval ones, one has been scrapped already, one (the lead ship “Kirov”, renamed “Admiral Ushakov”) suffered a reactor accident and is laid-up awaiting scrapping, the last-launched of the class is the reactivated Pyotr Velikiy (“Peter the Great”) and the Nakhimov was to be the next ship reactivated. They’ve sunk years into its reactivation – and now there’re serious problems with its reactors, and who knows if it’ll ever come back out?

        The fifth hull was built as the SSV-33 Ural, and was called “Kapusta” (“Cabbage”) because of the huge radar dish on its top, which had a giant white dome that sorta’ resembled a big head of cabbage. I wonder why the Soviets didn’t paint it green? The ship was a disaster – it was outfitted as a super spy ship / Space Event Support Ship (SESS), filled with computers and sent to the Russian east coast via the Suez Canal. On the way through the tropics, it was authoritatively determined that the ship could not cool the computers aboard; and when it got to the east coast, there wasn’t a pier long enough for it so it was anchored out in the bay. In the end, the Soviet space effort couldn’t afford it either so it sat there neglected and rotting-away until they scrapped it.

        Kuznetsov has also been a disaster. The only Russian aircraft carrier (the rest were all sold to India and China), it’s spent far more time broken in port than at sea; and it always leaves port with an ocean-going tugboat in its escort fleet, and more than once the tugboat has brought it home. Its latest huge gaffe nicely illustrates the enormous challenges the Russian navy has faced since the USSR closed-up shop and military budgets were slashed; Kuznetsov was out of the water, in the huge floating dry dock in the Murmansk area. Due to the navy’s non-payment of its power bills (the navy insists a storm blew-down the wires), shore power was cut-off and the drydock sank. That drydock had four diesel generators to protect against just such an event, but there was no fuel for them; I guess the navy wasn’t paying its fuel bills either. Kuznetsov was not ready to go back in the water, and the people aboard had a terrific scramble making it watertight; the drydock tipped over as it sank, dropping one of its cranes on Kuznetsov’s flight deck. There’s no other Russian drydock on the west coast big enough for Kuznetsov, so the navy is in a pickle and the ship’s long-overdue refit has been set-aside. Again. It may never go back to sea.

        1. Russia has never been a naval power and all its efforts to become one failed rather comically. So far, they are mostly remembered for being smashed to bits in the Russo-Japanese war, but not everyone knows that even that result was somewhat of an achievement, because their Baltic fleet, which was shooting at everything that moved along the way, managed to kill a few British fishermen while passing through the English Channel in what was known as Dogger Bank incident and the Brits were itching to sink the whole lot, but (with the French mediation) the Russians were able to buy a stay of execution (and get a different executioner).

          After this war, the Russian Navy will mostly be remembered by the famous sentence about where Russian warship should go. Rather than superpower, Russia should be classified as a “stupidpower” (and their power of stupidity is definitely substantial).

    2. In all fairness I believe the Phoenix system was to be rolled out by the conservatives until they surrendered in the 2015 election.

        Then the Libranos went on to spend billions on infrastructure projects, but the Parliamentary Budget Officer said they could find no records for what billions was spent on.

        It’s a money skimming operation.

McCarthy acts like he deserves the speaker’s position exactly the same way Hilary claimed she deserved to be president… and MTG now fully supports this grotesque swamp creature.

    Americans need REAL investigations into the rampant political/institutional corruption, not Uniparty puppet shows… which is all McCarthy would ever deliver.

    2. There’s a real danger that Jeffries (D) could come out of all of this with the gavel.
      This is a very dangerous game being played. I don’t like McCarthy either, and I like the resilience the rebel 20 is putting up, but everyone has to realize what’s really at stake here.
      I just hope the people involved know what they’re doing.
      I had the very same feeling Thursday, Feb 17, when the Truckers begged people to come to the hill to “hold the line.” My reaction was that I saw the writing on the wall, and urged the Truckers not to underestimate the enemy.
      You all know what happened next.

      Interesting, and not unexpected. But I think we’ll know the list of wealthy co-conspirators at the same time as the list of Epstein’s clients is published.

      I wonder if Democrats will continue to milk these donors for more money. No coercion you understand, just the subtle observation that it would be a shame if someone else was elected and they released the names.
