Friday On Turtle Island

Biden’s America:  Is Johnny Mathis racist?  Are men leaving the workforce?  Biden’s Woke Marines.  Good Catholic Joe’s “Holiday” message.  The Congressional Traitors.  This week in big lies.  Your morning meme.

Trudeau’s Canada:  Justin working hard to bring gay Afghans to Canada.  Parents getting fed up with big boobs teacher.  The Liberals have a problem with ethics.  A children’s guide to suicide.  Climate Justin is taking a break from ordering Canadians to starve and freeze in the dark, in order to save the sacred tree frog.  He and his family are burning jet fuel to Jamaica. I wonder if we will see any photos of a scruffy looking Trudeau showing up at a liquor store again?

Global Warming Scam News:  Nobody said they were the brightest bulbs in the package.

Woke Britain:  Have a Merry Woke Christmas.

A nice selection of Christmas music.

  1. Pretty repulsive of our Trudeau government to use Santa like that considering he’s tried a few times to eliminate Christmas altogether.
Another peeve is trying to feed food to a mechanical reindeer like in one commercial…

  2. For 2023 I wish for 60% Canadians who vote LPC, NDP, Greens & BQ a fantastic year filled with hunger, despair, unemployment & depression. You deserve it.
For the 30% who vote CPC I wish you see the “centrist” in “conservative”
For the 5% who vote PPC you are real conservatives. But you knew that.
    Canada: 2/3 are leftards.

    1. And to those who didn’t vote may they shut up and do as told and pay additional taxes for their stupidity.

  3. Blackie.

    100% agreed with the above.

I have voted PPC since Bernier started it.
The only TRUE conservative voice in Canada

    1. Blackie and Steakman, I agree. Merry Christmas and maybe we will have a better 2023 but I will not hold my breath.

        1. Yes, Merry Christmas to all.
Regarding the “big boobs” guygirlthing, I cannot believe it took those parents so long to react. What in Hell is wrong with you guys – it’s your KIDS that this clown was/is messing with.

    2. Yup.
Libs & “cons” have been the same corrupt team all along. Same team, different jerseys.
Harper refused to defund the CBC & promoted mass immigration too with 280 000 immigrants in 2011 alone.

  4. Regarding climate ‘activist’ (proper term is ‘ignorant idiot’) Emma Smart, she claims without evidence that 150 species go extinct every day.

Now I realize that 150 represents an average, but I’d like her to refer me to the place where I can see the list of the 100 to 200 species that have died the day before. And I’d expect that you could examine the preceding day’s lists, that should go back about 100 or so years, to review the names of all the species that have gone extinct due to CO2 emissions by humans.

And would it be asking too much of Emma Smart to provide the details of how the climate changed – colder, hotter, wetter, drier or some other way – that caused the extinction of each of the named species?

Spoiler alert: Emma Smart can’t provide what I’ve asked for. There have been perhaps maybe, m-a-a-y-be a few hundred total species that have gone extinct since atmospheric CO2 levels began to rise. What I’ve found so far is that the extinctions were attributed to overfishing, overhunting, habitat destruction, and most commonly due to invasive species such as rats, cats, and dogs. Not to say that it hasn’t happened somewhere, but I have not found one example of a species going extinct due to a change in climate as defined by the Köppen climate classification system.

Emma Smart could impress the socks off of me if she could provide one example of a species going extinct due to ‘Climate Change’. Heck! I’d be impressed if she could name one region whose Köppen climate classification has changed due to a change in the concentration of atmospheric CO2.

Oh… and I also want Santa Claus to leave a Unicorn under my Christmas tree. (Don’t be silly. It wouldn’t fit in the stocking I hung by the chimney, with care.)

    1. H.R. I agree, just name one:
“Scientists have estimated that there are around 8.7 million species of plants and animals in existence. However, only around 1.2 million species have been identified and described so far, most of which are insects.”

Could mosquitoes and black flies be in danger?? Just stop oil!

      https://education.nationalgeographic.org/resource/biodiversity/#:~:text=Scientists%20have%20estimated%20that%20there,most%20of%20which%20are%20insects.

99% of the four billion species that have evolved on Earth are now gone. Species go extinct, while new ones are formed. That’s life. There’s a natural background rate to the timing and frequency of extinctions: 10% of species are lost every million years; 30% every 10 million years; and 65% every 100 million years.

    2. Here’s a start for you –

“Let’s get a grip on the current state of the Sixth Mass Extinction — so far the only mammal extinction officially due to “man-made” climate change was a colony of little brown rats which had washed up on a sandy spit south of Papua New Guinea. The “island” is so small it has no fresh water, no trees, and the highest point is all of 3 meters above the high tide mark. One king wave could have wiped out the colony. Relatives of these rats live in Papua New Guinea, and presumably more rats will wash up there again sometime and the cycle will start over. As of 2019, that was the only actual mammal anyone can name as an extinction “caused by climate change”.

Almost the whole island was protected by the Native Title Act. A lot of good it did the dead rats.

As Patrick Moore, co-founder of Greenpeace says — most of the species “going extinct” never existed in the first place:
“Since species extinction became a broad social concern, coinciding with the extinction of the passenger pigeon, we have done a pretty good job of preventing species extinctions.”

Moore bluntly mocked species extinction claims made by biologist Edward O. Wilson from Harvard University. Wilson estimated that up to 50,000 species go extinct every year based on computer models of the number of potential but as yet undiscovered species in the world. Moore: “There’s no scientific basis for saying that 50,000 species are going extinct. The only place you can find them is in Edward O. Wilson’s computer at Harvard University. They’re actually electrons on a hard drive. I want a list of Latin names of actual species.””

  5. Re the Boobs Oakville teacher.
Only reason the parents are getting anything done is cause it’s Oakville, one of the most richest cities in Canada.
When you got parents with buckets of cash to throw at the problem, things get done in a hurry.
Quite a few on that board have been told they won’t be getting re-elected unless Big Boobs gets the boot.
