      These are the go-to descriptions the LIAR media use to describe all conservatives and people whose opinions are disapproved. Do you know how many times the DM has described Trump as “RAGING” in his office, or at a hearing, or on a plane, or at a rally … ? The average reader actually believes Trump is a rageaholic. Permanently angry … and we all hate angry people … right?

  2. Not surprisingly the story doesn’t mention the role of the press.

    Trudeau sponsored media enthusiastically joined the P.M. in labelling the truckers as violent and dangerous extremists bent on overthrowing the government and running around with Nazi flags.

    Let’s hope against hope that the inquiry report will be factual and fair.

      1. Mike, don’t blame you for being cynical, but the Judge showed a few traces of having a backbone during the inquiry.

        He seemed to be pissed off about Trudeau not revealing the legal justification for imposing the Act that he claimed to have. Why not?

        1. The judge was chosen because he appeared to be a Liberal Party loyalist, since he donated to them, and was likely appointed by them…

          I could see the report blaming the NDP for what happened, before pointing at any minister…

    2. How government can manipulate the results of the inquiry? 1. Write the terms of reference – what the inquiry is allowed and directed to look into. The terms for this were to investigate the protestors for foreign money and influences and not what the Emergency Act legislation stipulated. 2. Appoint the judge. A liberal appointee and former staffer will understand what is needed. 3. Stage manage the government witnesses and have them all reading from the approved script and have paid media focus on that.

  4. Let it not be forgotten that the truckers and others that did what they could to keep the supply chain rolling, weren’t mandated to be vaccinated during the worst of the Wuhan Flu. It was only after, when the pandemic was easing that the Turd decided to force those that had been working so hard moving goods, to get the Shot!
    For me, the truckers were the Story of the Year, and the biggest part of it all, was the Media lies and manipulation of the public, intentionally miss describing those at the protest as all white, as all redneck, as racists, bigots’, homophobes, as misogynistic.

    The News story of the year was that big urbanistic journalists lied about the Convoy Protest, and all the other news rooms went along with them, including those in Saskatchewan.

    Have they dug up any children’s bodies from all those mass graves that they were frothing about last year?

    It’s pretty amazing how they reported on all sorts of horrors at the Freedom rally but didn’t get one second of video to support those stories.

  6. Too bad they did not bother to cover the protest with honesty and integrity. I don’t remember any journalists bothering to interview any of the protestors. I do remember the relentless attempts to smear the protestors. An important story, but opportunity lost for informing the public about the nature of the protest and their level of support across the country.

    1. There was at least one exception in the legacy media who did speak to many protestors, Rupa Subramanya. She lives in downtown Ottawa and spoke to more than 100 protestors. Her reports were carried in the National Post (I believe she is a freelancer and does not work for the Post). This is a link to a story of her reporting that was published in the Daily Mail:

  7. Quebec has a tried and true method to screw federal taxpayers that the other provinces should follow. First, the province demands that it be given the right to manage its affairs in the same areas that Quebec does (e.g., immigration, employment insurance). Second step, the province demands that federal taxpayers give the province the money required to manage the program, just like Quebec receives. Third step, the province hires its own bureaucrats to manage the program. The plus side: more provincial independence. The down side: probably more bureaucrats in the country.

  12. Heard the report of it being story of the year on the radio. Of course ” a Nazi and Confederate flag were spotted” was front and center.
    I guess it isn’t an outright lie because they were ” spotted”. The gestopo and the government made certain of that. We aren’t going to vote our way out of this.
