  1. I’ve seen some rumblings that Republican voting was lighter than anticipated, and is being blamed on people giving up because we live in a post-election world since 2020. If that is the case, 2022 did little to convince them they were wrong.

            Obviously fencing off the Capitol grounds and stationing thousands of national guards for months was more evidence of threats and insurrection and not theater.       There were three nights of riots in Kenosha WI.
      Three nights of riot, looting, and arson.
      The Police and National Guard were protecting the Downtown, the City Hall, Court House, and letting the commercial district burn.
      On the third night, a mentally ill pedophile threatened and later attacked a teenager, and got shot by the teen.
      As the teenager went to turn himself in to police, he was attacked by a mob of several other armed rioters.
      He turned himself into the police.*
      And after the two dead rioters? Kenosha was really, really quiet on the fourth night.

    Diane Feinstein, Maxim Watters, Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden And Donald Trump ! But at least trump called it for what it is, a SWAMP. Oh, we can elect a younger John Fetterman, he is brain damaged from a stroke.
    The one positive take away is that this perversion of institutions by lowest form of humanity will eventually fall as hubris leads to society tiring of the insanity.

  14. Florida got uncontested credible results early on the night of the election. That is because they dealt with the hundreds of issues and complaints in the 2020 election by fixing the system:

    Established new procedures for absentee ballot drop boxes;
    Created requirements before election officials can enter into civil settlements that affect election procedures;
    Precluded the acceptance of private funds for election administration;
    Reformed third-party absentee ballot collection;
    Mandated new disclosures for third-party voter registration organizations;
    Bolstered voter identification requirements for absentee ballot applications;
    Penalized the solicitation of voters near polling places and drop boxes; and
    Prohibited election officials from unilaterally—absent affirmative requests by voters—mailing absentee ballots or ballot applications to voters.

    The path to clean elections is simple, but one must want to take it.

    1. You missed the most important one: processing and counting of mail in ballots well before election day. They still took several days to count, but all of their races were decided before then. That is two different things.

        The fact is that Arizona does not want to fix the problems and make the system transparent.

          Processing can be done as early as possible. Signatures verified, etc. Counting goes fairly quick anyways.

            The broken and distrusted U.S. electoral system is not a straight party line issue. Corrupt politicians from both camps want to preserve the shitty system that got them elected.

            That having been said, on the whole, the Republicans want voter ID, smaller precincts, limitations to mail-in voting, no ballot harvesting, cleaner voter rolls, etc. Democrats want looser rules that make it easier to cheat.

          2. Why have early voting at all? Feterman won because his ridiculous performance (“Goodnight everybody!”) in his one and only debate with Dr. Oz took place well after many people have already voted.

            To which, Allen, I can predict your response to my post. It will be of the “so-what” variety no doubt.

    Remember the US Office of Personnel Management? The US Government hired the Chinese Communists to hack all our Top Secret Clearance files. The Chinese have all the data on everyone with a top secret clearance, their family, and their friends.

  17. Perhaps a simpler system would solve the distrust.
    If votes cannot be counted on “Voting Day” then those results are not trust worthy.
    Throw them out and try again.
    Paper votes.
    Massive number of human counters.With cross checkers.
    Purple dye on finger as each person votes.
    No mail in.
    No absentee.

    Ain’t rocket science.we have been doing this for years..
    Without casting shade on the process or the results.

    So who benefits from suspect election results?
    Those who want to break faith?
    Destroying the voters faith in the Ballot Box,is very much a progressive project.

  18. My experience was the same as it’s always been.
    It was inside the gymnasium of a local church.
    Walk up to table, show drivers license, I was registered on the spot (just moved) , Walk to another table, two people initial ballot, I fill out, feed face down into machine by door.

  19. Nothing to worry about. Katie Hobbs is in charge of elections in Arizona, and as a compassionate social worker she is waiting for the votes to come in from the poor oppressed people. They don’t know how to fill out voter forms correctly, so it takes time.

    Be patient, it is Election Week, not Election Day. Ask the media if you disbelieve me!
