Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

PETA’s continuing ability to self-trivialize is astonishing.
This line is masterful, “Peta says Ecopel has offered an unlimited amount of the faux fur free of charge until 2030,” in light of the MoD’s wonderful commitment to remaining faux fur free.
Of course not grasping the fact that oil is used to make the faux fur.
As usual, you got right to the heart of it. Well done, sir.
Securing a government-supported tree planting contract sounds like a wonderfully remunerative dream job.
Re the Just Stop Oil twits, “The government is not taking the devastating effects of the climate emergency seriously.” thus far this month Just Stop Oil has killed more Brits then has the devastating climate emergency.
Well Justin did promise to plant as many government trees in 10 years as are planted by the forestry companies in 1
“The government is not taking the devastating effects of the climate emergency seriously,” says the scientifically and mentally impoverished Just Stop Oil protestor. Meanwhile, so far this month Just Stop Oil protests have killed more humans than has the “devastating…climate emergency.” And they have yet higher aspirations.
“The government is not taking the devastating effects of the climate emergency seriously,”
They’re demociding their citizens as fast as they can.
That glitch, for which I am unapologetic, reminds me of the old (aren’t they all) Mark Twain quote, “Suppose you had a member of Congress that was an idiot. But I repeat myself.”
Never let a tragedy go to waste. All of the bought and paid for media are excited, that Blackie showed up at a rally against Iran.

buddy
No surprise, little Alex has been an Iranian Govt Propagandist for decades….little Commie POS doing all the things a good little Commie does. Cant allow this kind of “misinformation” to reach the commoner now can we.?
Hi George Soros…
10 incoming councillors, trustees say recent coverage in Hamilton newspaper ‘perpetuated anti-Black racism’
Brought to you by…
Dominion Voting Systems…
Right John Tory…
Right Doug Ford…
Freeman
Sounds just like Calgary…Dominion Voting machines used in our last Municipal election bring in some commie twat who no one had ever heard of as mayor.
I smell the same pestilence at work here as well. Soros being a good buddy of that the TWATS in the PMO. But like the rest of the country, Calgarians on the whole far far too F’ing STUPID to add 2 + 2 together.
I think the link is missing from “Today In Islam: Justin just gave 25 million dollars to this country” above.
After all we have the best voters that money can buy.

Re: Pelosi.
Why on Earth is no one asking about the third person who let the police into the house?!!!???
Bingo.
But worse, why are so many people buying the wholesale bullshit story; and will lefties buy the January 6 redux aspect? Altho, lefties don’t buy so much as rent these preposterous inventions, eh?
My wife told me yesterday that a friend at church told her it was easy to get into Pelosi’s house. She was probably wearing a mask as she said this as according to my wife only she and a couple others worshipped in naked face.
Re: Sharia UK: Doctor who told Muslim woman to remove her veil gets nine-month suspension
What if he had asked her if she wanted a pap smear? Do male doctors deliver babies of Muslim women in the UK, or other Muslim countries?

Re: Rex Murphy on Canada’s scary tree scarcity.
I found Rex’s piece amusing and personally resonant.
A century or so ago, in 2000 AD, or you prefer, 20 years BC (before covid) I rode the Alaska Highway.
That ride included about 3 days traversing BC.
Contrary to public perception that route is not very scenic.
The thing that struck me most forcefully were the TREES. Trees as far as the eye could see, N S E and W. I remember thinking, ‘My gawd, why do we make such a fuss about trees?’ In fact I may have vocalized Rex’s delightful phrase the “perfect wonder” of it.
And recently Vancouver’s new mayor, a man who allegedly is right of centre in his political outlook, promised, high up on his campaign agenda, to plant ‘x’ number of trees. And again, I thought, My gawd, if you made a list of 10 things Vancouver needed, #11 would be … more trees.
Re Rex Murphy’s text, I searched a bit when Trudeau’s carbon tax 1st kick in: all carbon tax/carbon credit schemes in the world, ALL are just sophisticated rackets/Ponzi schemes. Lieberals here in Canada keep blabbing that all that money goes back to consumer. BS. That’s why actually I researched the thing in the first place. Because I KNOW Lieberals always lie, especially when it’s about tax money.
BS!
No, money stolen from people’s pockets go in the end to gov-friendly companies who only PROMISED they will do this-and-that re ‘green’ energy. Solar, wind, planting trees etc. It’s basically money for pie-in-the-sky projects. They promise a gazillion wind turbines or solar panels size of Texas, they bring all msmedia when 1st turbine nice-an’-shiny, fresh painted is in place, everyone is ‘wow, that’s so coool!’ and that’s it. No one checks efficiency, costs, maintenance, progress of said-projects, how many trees where actually planted & survived. No one. It’s the most devious Ponzi scheme of 21st century.
They have to get those photos of the new wind turbines quickly. We got a new wind farm west of town here two years ago, and the first one burned about three months later.
Bear skin hats on Guards Regiments? This discussion has been going on so long I assumed they had already done it. Black bears are pests and without “shoot-shovel-and shut up” they would be a much bigger nuisance. I take shots at bears reasonable frequently to scare them away. Someone else can kill them. Stopping the hats will not save one bear.
Perhaps the good Doctor would like to move to Alberta. A decent number of Brits here and I have yet to see a woman here in that silly getup that got him shitcanned.
That Voter Suppression law in Georgia (that cost them the All Star game two years ago) is rocking. Screw MLB.
“How intense is voter interest in Georgia? Just look at turnout. People are voting early in droves. Record numbers. … Through Sunday, 740,615 Georgians have voted early in person. Another 76,247 have voted absentee, for a total of 816,862. ‘Saturday’s total marks an astounding 159% increase from day six of 2018 midterm early voting and shattered the turnout record of day six of early voting in the 2020 presidential election by 20%,’ the [Georgia Secretary of State’s] office said. … There is no Jim Crow 2.0. There is no Jim Crow on steroids. There is no 21st-century Jim Crow. … Do not look for President Biden or those who echoed his words to apologize. That’s not going to happen. But events have proven them wrong, wrong, wrong.” —Byron York

“…sophisticated reductio-ad-absurdist: “I suppose you’d prefer the PM and his entourage stay at the local youth hostel. Next time we’ll just toss the GG and her entourage a bag of bagels and tub of cream cheese. How’s that?””
Your terms are acceptable
Cream cheese? No she can have Velveeta.
Where is this populist backlash?
