    Great documentary for those interested in turn of the century farm life (not this century, the last one ha). Just under an hour long, it documents the day to day life of an old fashioned farmer in Latvia ( I think).

    Anyone know what kind of horse he uses for logging and farming?

  11. We’ve had 3 sightings at my parents farm just outside Winnipeg of an all black Chinook. Very odd to see those helicopters here. I know there is a training place in Portage, but the squadron is based out of Petawawa.

    My understanding is our normal helicopters are green/grey. This one was solid black. JTF2?

    2. There are a bunch of brand new government box trucks on pickup chassis running around the US, of a style that I’ve never seen before. Saw a fleet of them on I-80 a month ago and a single in New Mexico last week. All appear to have satellite communication. No clue what they’re intended for.

    3. 2 days ago a twin engine aircraft crisscrossed at low level the rural area I live in for at least 1/2 hour. I thought they may be trying to locate someone at large but there were no reports of incidents. Has me wondering now.

    4. In my militia days close to 40 years ago at Milcon at Dundurn, Sask. a few green American helicopters showed up. I was offered the opportunity to do a helicopter assault but decided not. The things looked old and beat up and I wasn’t a grunt. I was just playing in a grunt HQ. They were likely doing a joint something or other with the Canadian Forces and were in the neighbourhood.

Daily rolling polls show the Republicans gaining, and the Democrats losing, day by day. Turns out people are upset with inflation and crime, and they don’t like Biden. The pro-Democrat reporter said the Democrats may lose both houses.
