1. Lithium batteries are full of graphite (carbon), and often contain more graphite than lithium.

   And synthetic graphite is made from coke which is a petroleum refinery product.

8. Ottawa was not “living through hell” and “became ungovernable”. The honking stopped with the injunction, the law obeyed. Even Wellington street was not closed by the protesters, maybe by the police. The only violence was by the police. Most of Ottawa didn’t notice a thing, maybe even went downtown for the spectacle. Many local businesses made money with all the extra people downtown.

   2. I attended the protests twice. You are correct. Every thing was orderly and quite frankly upbeat. I have not been in a more caring crowd — smiles, hugs, helpful support ( sidewalks were very slippy). I am disgusted by Watson’s remarks. He will be gone soon, but it is a dirty note to end on. (I actually typed ” sorry” note, but spell check changed it to ” dirty”. Decided thst was appropriate. Bye Watson. Good riddance.

    Surprisingly, even the Toronto star covered the CSIS finding that the trucker’s protest was not funded by foreigners to any significant degree. The government was advised of this on February 6, 2022.

    The reason the date is important is that politicians and the media continued to spread the rumour fully knowing it was false. Here’s a headline from a Star column dated February 11, 2022. “Trudeau says almost half of protesters’ funds from U.S….”

    Also, the Peckford case will show that limiting Canadians’ mobility rights is illegal under ALL circumstances – the notwithstanding clause does not apply. Testimony has shown that the government scientists did NOT advocate for vaccine passports – the decisions were purely political.

    The press won’t be able to ignore all of this.
