Global- Feds deny Nova Scotia’s claim that ArriveCAN delayed U.S. Fiona assistance
The Nova Scotia premier’s office had told Global News earlier Sunday that power crews from Maine were delayed at the border due to the app. In a subsequent phone call following the federal government’s denial, the premier’s office stood by the allegation.

Travelled to Italy for a few weeks arrived back at yvr last night. Flew air Canada to Rome and o f course the whole flight “ please put on your mask sir” land in Rome I took my mask off completely before leaving the plane. No one in Rome airport wearing the mask. The dumb Canadians were slow to notice this but by the time we reached the luggage most had removed the mask. Italian customs scanned my passport and the gate opened and we were in Italy caught a train into Rome was at my hotel and hour after landing.
A lady on the train asked us what the hell is wrong with Canada as she saw all the idiots wearing mask as they exited the plane. Fast forward to returning to Canada via YVR. We struggled mightily about the app for arrival but at the last minute we used the app. We arrived YVR walked thru to customs into a complete shit show, total chaos. So now we have to scan our passports even after using the app, we did this after standing in a very long line. Now we had to get into another incredibly long line to talk to a custom agent. This line went on forever, and my wife and I did not and would not wear our masks. Customs people and security people were totally overwhelmed yelling out instructions and opening this line closing that line. We finally got to the kiosk, the officer took our passports scanned them and asked if we were in possession of masks. We said yep he handed our passports back. Total time to get thru customs 1.5 hours and of course they had our passport info not once but three times. This is political theatre a cruel joke it means nothing to one except polls I am ashamed to be a Canadian
