National Post- Uh-oh, Trudeau’s back to not thinking about monetary policy again
Yet the same morning, the Liberal government announced a $4.5 billion package of benefit increases that will goose inflation and more than likely force the bank to move further and faster than it might otherwise have done. As the prime minister crooned dramatically in London this past weekend, this is the real life, this is not fantasy, and there is no escape from reality.

I stopped reading after Ivison’s first paragraph caveat trying to maintain his Liberal street-creds while he grovels about why he still dislikes conservatives before he mildly criticizes Turdeau. John boy is a wank.
Benefit Increases for who..??
Sure as shit not to us Seniors…right.??
HE wants us, ALL as dead as can be.
Nope: Likely half of that will go to the perennial Whiners – the Indians, the rest to Gender Bent LGBTQQXYfkingZ garbage, and University Presidents and anyone under 50. The ones that really need it right…??
Ivison has always had something glowing to say about Der Fuhrer.
Now, he is covering his bases.
“Poilievre had dinner with Brian Mulroney…”
Good grief. 33 million people in this country and you had to consult with that grifter. John Baird…Tony Clement and now Brian Mulroney. Who’s next…Kim Campbell? Quit rubbing shoulders with these freaking has beens.
I won’t say you’re not off to a good start but you’re not off to a good start.
And for the folks at home keeping score this is Ivison’s obligatory once a year anti Trudeau column so he can point to it whenever someone accuses him of being a Liberal Party hack. He’ll have his head firmly up Trudeau’s ass by next week and will poke his head out like Wiarton Willie same time next year.
Ivison is a douche bag.
Yep…just reading the title.
So surprised is he?
Did Ivison and friends believe for over the last seven years that JT had a clue about monetary policy?
