    1. I get paid over $85 per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I’d be able to do it but my best friend earns over 10k a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless.
      Here’s what I’ve been doing…

    1. Next stop Berkley. They should start delivering diversity to university campuses and make ivy leaguers share their dorms with the enrichers. That would be fun.

      1. Sort them out first though.
Pick through them and send the ones with the most prison tattoos and most gang tattoos to them.

  1. FWIW

“Not sure what this means, but 4 of the world’s largest mints have moved their women HR heads into the top positions. US Mint, Canadian Mint, UK Mint, South African Mint, and looks like a fifth mint, Australia’s Perth Mint is perhaps going to do the same. Five HR Directors moved to run five big mints?! What experience do they have with running a mint? Are the big mints planning on shutting down completely? If there is going to be a Central Bank Digital Currency, why have a mint? Is that the reason? Or maybe they just see a BIG rise in gold and silver prices and expect to halt production for a while until prices stabilize. Very odd.”

  2. Remember when US Senator Manchin caved to Schumer on the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” in return for pipeline and permitting reform? Manchin made a huge mistake. He trusted Schumer. He should have got his permitting reform upfront. Notice the headline in the story? Once again, the story is not backstabbing Democrats are repudiating their deal they made with Manchin, but that “Republicans Pounce!”

The other hidden headline is once again, the US Federal Budget is being set by Continuing Resolution. The Congress has not once performed their Constitutional Duty of passing budgets for every federal department in how many years?

    1. Started when the Dems took the House in 2007. Both sides quickly discovered they really like blowing through money this way, so neither has even tried returning to regular budget processes.

  3. Jeremy … one of the absolute BEST MTV Unplugged performances ever. And the top comment:

    Navjeet Singh

    No auto tune, no effects
    Just raw powerful vocals

You got that right my friend. Pure God-given talent behind that microphone. And what a performance. I loathe Eddie Vender’s politics (as with 99.75% Rock performers) but that voice and performance are as good as Rock Music gets. The guitars and drums are superb … but that voice … oh my! And the feeling … wow!

I mostly thank my children for exposing me to the best music of the 90’s. I don’t believe I’d have been too interested otherwise … but they grew up as “Alternative” music aficionados… and I got to hear the best of the best … including Pearl Jam.

    1. Never really my style of music but Pearl Jam’s cover of Victoria William’s song Crazy Mary is brilliant.

  4. BNN-Bloomberg breaking news (shown on TV): Russia states that the Russian-held Donetsk region will hold a referendum to join Russia on September 23-27.

    1. More on this story. Mr. Putin is scheduled to give a major speech on the war in the evening (Moscow time, which shoild be this afternoon Eastern time):
      https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/referendums-set-series-ukraine-regions-national-mobilization-being-pushed-through

According to Zerohedge, Putin will announce a formal declaration of war or a national emergency, will declare a mobilization of troops and a huge build-up in Ukraine, as well as referendum elections in the Dombas.

      1. Who would have thunk it, but somehow Russians have come to perceive NATO & the Ukraine debacle as an existential threat.
Here, the larder is full. Still stacking wood and lead for barter, anxiously awaiting that EMP.

  5. Switzerland is one of the few countries that did not “print money” during the post 2008 period and especially during covid. It’s money supply increased linearly, not exponentially as was the case for other countries including Canada.

Interestingly, Switzerland has seen an increase in its core inflation which has now risen to just over 2%.

  6. I’m going to take this one last opportunity before I go dark to remind everyone that the midterms are not a sure thing. (We may not even have midterm elections!) I’m getting signals that something very dark and sinister will be happening within the next week to 10 days that could adversely affect the upcoming midterms, particularly Sept 24 seems to be a date of heightened concern. I don’t know what exactly, but I’m getting these signals from more than one source now. I’m not saying that stuff will happen, I’m just saying that I’m hearing stuff that scares the stuff out of me.

Hint: Biden set the stage with his Hitlerian speech in Penn a couple of weeks ago. I am fearing for the worst now. The good news is this could very well be a vanguard for a changing society for the better, but remember that we have to go through hell to get to heaven.

It could very well be that nothing will happen between now, and the end of September, and I’m praying that is indeed the case. All I’m saying is hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Stay on your toes, everyone. This ride could get a little bumpy!

    1. I’m sure they were upset at not being able to hear Lil’ Baby sing Dean Martin’s and Frank Sinatra’s greatest hits!

  7. Middle Aged (Democrat) White Man chases (Republican) Teen through North Dakota Town with Car and Kills Him over Political Dispute.

    https://www.inforum.com/news/north-dakota/police-driver-admitted-to-intentionally-killing-teen-at-foster-county-street-dance-during-political-dispute

Kate, this is just South of your Border. Check the Photographs. The dead teen looks to be Bi-Racial to me.

Court papers show Brandt called 911 around 2:30 a.m. Sunday and told the 911 dispatcher that he just hit Ellingson, claiming the teen was part of a Republican extremist group and was calling people to come get Brandt after a political argument.

No such thing as shame when it comes to the dishonest, disgraceful, disgusting co-opted Canadian Media.(owned and operated by the Liberal Government of Canada.)

Poilievre begins his spittle-flecked rule of the Conservative Party
    Sep 19 2022 — Michael Harris — Hill Times

And so begins the spittle-flecked rule of Pierre Poilievre at the helm of the Conservative Party of Canada. With an apology for harassing texts, firings at the Conservative Party Fund, and another attack on the media, Poilievre, spurs and all, has announced that there is a new marshal in town. But it has been a […]

Toying with paranoid populism has consumed other parties whole. Now, Pierre Poilievre will give it a try
Sep 16 2022 — Justin Ling — Globe and Mail

“I can’t trust Obama. I’ve read about him: He’s an Arab.” Before the woman in the bright red shirt could finish her thought about the Democratic presidential nominee at a Minnesota town hall, his Republican opponent, John McCain, vigorously shook his head and reached for the microphone in her hand: “No ma’am,” he said, “he’s […]

Veering between authoritarian and libertarian, Pierre Poilievre’s policies are a dangerous way to run an economy

    Sep 17 2022 — Jim Stanford — Toronto Star

Pierre Poilievre cruised to victory as federal Conservative leader. His campaign was powered by a core of party members who are mad as hell, about pretty much everything, from COVID rules to climate policies to the mass media. While that negative energy handily won him the leadership, Poilievre now faces the same quandary as his […]

In dust-up with reporter, Pierre Poilievre takes a page from the Trump playbook
    Sep 16 2022 — Jo-Ann Roberts — Toronto Star

Pierre Poilievre is good at making people angry — but usually, his goal is to make people angry with Justin Trudeau. On Tuesday, Poilievre made a reporter angry. As the Star’s Bruce Arthur wrote, David Akin, chief political correspondent for Global News, was upset because the newly elected Conservative leader said he wouldn’t take any […]

What Pierre Poilievre’s Leadership Campaign Can Teach Ontario Liberals
    Sep 17 2022 — John O’Leary — National Newswatch

Pierre Poilievre’s comprehensive Conservative Party leadership victory is sending shockwaves through Canadian politics. He dominated his rivals across Canada and emerges from the leadership race with momentum and a united party behind him. It’s a situation Ontario Liberals will be watching with envy, as they lick their wounds following a second consecutive electoral drubbing and […]

Pierre Poilievre vs. the elites (unless they’re rich)
    Sep 16 2022 — Katrina Miller — Toronto Star

When Pierre Poilievre says “no new taxes,” he means no new taxes for the rich. In his first address to the Conservative caucus, Poilievre made it clear he’s returning the party to a hard-line, anti-tax agenda. Matched with his proclamation of being on the side of workers and seniors, the hypocrisy is striking. His rationale […]

    Poilievre is talking dangerous nonsense
    Sep 16 2022 — Dale Smith — Xtra

The elevation of Pierre Poilievre to leader of the Conservative Party promises a much more acrimonious time in Parliament, as Poilievre has spent his career believing himself to be a pugilist. His rhetorical style tends to be smarmy, playing to the backbenches with quips he feels to be clever, but really aren’t. During debate, he […]

Will Ottawa’s new affordability measures make inflation worse — or just easier to take?
    Sep 15 2022 — Heather Scoffield — Toronto Star

The indignation over this week’s Liberal-NDP affordability package was predictable, and came fast and furious. Some bank economists, some market players, and especially the new inflation-focused leader of the Official Opposition, Pierre Poilievre, were quick to say Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland is “pouring more gas on the fire.” The main accusations? The $4.6-billion package exacerbates […]

    What a Joke.
