The goal is to crash the economy so that people will die through starvation and privation. So why would Ottawa pay any attention to an action that could revive the failing economy? They wouldn’t and they won’t. All of their actions are designed for this one end. Trudeau and his cronies see you as the problem. You are below their consideration as you are cannon fodder in a war to save Gaia. If you accept the premise, then the actions undertaken make sense (albeit in a crazed, lunatic form).

Natural resources belong to the province they reside in. Ottawa has no business telling the provinces how much they can produce. If Ottawa tells Alberta and Saskatchewan to produce more oil for Europe, tell them to get stuffed.

Was it 3 billion? Not doubting you, just asking. Because that number, allowing for 100 square feet per tree, would mean Canada would be planted almost twice over for trees. It would seem like something our virtual signaling govt would do
1 square mile = 5280 x 5280 = 27,878,000 sq ft.
So if 100 ft2 per tree, we get 278,780 trees per square mile.
2,000,000,000 divided by 278,780 = 7174 square miles.
So lots of room to plant these trees.
However, I suspect Justin needs 1 bureaucrat to plan and manage planting 100 trees.
Correct, confused area in an acre with square mile. Nonetheless, how much of Canada is already treed, inhospitable to trees, urbanized and so forth. Is the planting going to be on arable land currently producing this thing called food?
Speaking of tree planting, I’m told that when they plant seedlings, they spray them every year using helicopter spray systems – to cut down on the global warming no doubt. But not exactly an environmentally sound idea. Why plant at all? Let the areas regrow naturally.

Meanwhile I suspect the Liberals are creating a federal department to plan and manage their planting. They’ll need a need building, offices, furniture, computers etc. All this takes time. (barf)

If this is year three, they are likely still on item 1 above.
