True, UK energy policies have led to a national energy crisis. But the article completely misses the point behind the decisions made. The objective was to not be shamed by the retarded Swedish highschool dropout at the next Davos meeting.
why is this unexpected? every country and province have decided that replacing stable and inexpensive baseload power, and dispatchable with unreliable niche power that they incorrectly call “renewables” was a great idea.
How bad is it? I witnessed a video of a British news outlet spinning a wheel where one of the top prizes was to pay a caller’s energy bill for a year.

So … before ANY inquiry is possible … it’s time to treat the anti- fossil fuel, anti-nuke, freakshow the SAME way as the government has treated anti-abortion protestors. Force them 1,000 feet from any petrol station, roadway, intersection, individual vehicle, and the Courts. Confiscate their “offensive” posters. Strip them of their backpacks, and charge them with disturbing the peace if their chants are too loud. FORCE them to “peacefully protest” and to NOT block the sidewalks or inconvenience the public … or arrest the whole lot of em.
