The Spectator- Why is violence breaking out in Leicester?

For the past few weeks Leicester has become a kind of mini-Kashmir in the middle of England, with clashes, protests and disorder breaking out in the city between young Muslim and Hindu men. It’s a remarkable turn of events for a city which has long prided itself on being a functioning multicultural society, a place where Hindus and Muslims live alongside one another in relative harmony.

    1. Why are you assuming that those Hindus are the good guys? Not being mooselimb does not make one a god guy. They’re not fighting for European values obviously. Both are fighting the same fight they have been fighting back where they came from. Another good reason to import neither.

    I keep hoping that the next horrible, murderous, Muslim atrocity will target those Muslim kissing elites, it might wise them up. When the families of the Trudeaus, the Charests or the Shandros get chopped or shot into bloody bits they’ll pay more attention.

When the working class Brits left in droves after the war the governing parties of Britain calculated that they could make up the labour shortage by importing from third world Commonwealth nations. No one in power at that time recognized that third world religions were not compatable to first world relogions and societies. It has been downhill from there and to compound the issue no one has learned the lesson. In Canada we have been on the same downward spiral since Pierre the Elder was voted into power. It took from two hundred to two hundred and fifty years for the Normans and the Saxons to assimilate. It took almost five hundred years for the Catholics and Protestants to get along and we’re still working on that. Now to expect us all to get along in a period of fifty years because “Diversity is Our Strength” is nothing short of national insanity. But hey bring it on!

      1. There’s no evidence of any such ‘downward spiral’. We’re wealthier and have less crime than then. The immigration is nothing but positive.
