This evening we present a very politically incorrect film, the 1974 comedy, Blazing Saddles. This is a perfect video to share with your fragile woke family members and acquaintances. Just tell them that if they don’t laugh, it’s a clear indication that they’re racists.

  5. I mentioned this a while ago on here, but in late 2019 I travelled from the UK to Calgary with Air Canada. To my surprise, Blazing Saddles was an inflight movie option. I thought, ‘Oh no, I bet it’ll be ten minutes long once they’ve deleted all the dodgy stuff’, but amazingly it was uncut, cursing and ‘N’ word’s all left in. Well done AC.

      If you don’t have access to an outhouse, the official way to do this, according to Leave No Trace, a group that promotes responsible outdoor education, goes something like this: You wander off into the woods, 200 feet away from a waterway. You dig a hole that’s about six inches — 15 cm — deep. It’s called a “cathole” and ought to be away from trails, campsites and, ideally, in a sunny spot, since that helps with decomposition. You do your business, cover it back up, and go about your day. The U.S. Forest Service recommends using a “stick or trowel” to mix the feces with soil to help it biodegrade, which, environment depending, can occur in a few months to several years.

      You should put your used toilet paper into a bag and take it with you. Indeed, Parks Canada guidelines for backcountry visitors in Banff include the mandate that toilet paper (and other products such as tampons) be packed out. Despite the popularity, and perceived effectiveness of catholes, Parks Canada told the National Post that, quite simply, catholes are no good. There’s the chance other visitors will discover your poop and pathogens “will come into contact with ground water.”

      “The digging and use of temporary latrines by backcountry visitors is almost always an inappropriate method for disposal,” Parks Canada said.

      In an ideal world, backcountry users would defecate into a bag and carry that out, too, not just their used toilet paper. There are special bags, called a WAG bag, that contain a deodorizing and gelling agent to make the process less unpleasant. Parks Canada, on its website for Tuktut Nogait National Park, in the Northwest Territories, notes that decomposition doesn’t work well in the Arctic, and that the best way to deal with feces is to carry it out.

Canadians can only own an interest in an estate.

    While the shooting took “years off my life” I expect it took more years off the life of the woman he shot and killed. Allegedly.

Free medicare, doctors,nurses health care workers don’t pay tax.Free dental, dentists don’t pay tax.The more of society that is socialized,the less tax is paid.Pure socialism means that everyone works for the government and no one pays tax and the system dies because nobody works for free. When socialist governments fail,they think that there must be hidden money,so they double down trying to collect money that is not there,. The Soviet union had ZERO income tax.

  13. The Lisa LaFlamme imbroglio continues among the chattering classes. They can’t let it go OR admit LL might bear some responsibility for her firing.

    She was let go the end of June. The story hits the press mid August. The settlement terms and the payment have been agreed upon and the cheque has been cashed. End of story.

    Nobody is commenting on LaFlamme’s culpability in this matter. It’s the big bad corporate boss who’s responsible. The media supports this fiction, it’s all they got.

    1. I don’t see how her leaving is an issue for anyone. Seems ridiculous. We have real problems the world and LaFlamme’s dismissal is not one of them. There was even a Change.org petition to get her reinstated. I thought it was absurd. This was a business decision that Bell has every right to make.

        1. During the early stages of the CV19 outbreak Lisa Laflamme reported the CTV nightly News broadcast from her treed back yard in T.O. The crew from the studio lit the place up, cameras, at the ready. That must’ve rang up a bill. Of course, social DISTANCING and Masks were used, etc.

          Fast forward to 2022. …CTV’s # 3 news reader, after Lisa and Sandi, Omar Sachedina suddenly found himself reporting from the war in Ukraine wearing a flak jacket and helmet. At times he looked hungry and tired, with a 5 o’clock shadow on his usually clean-shaven face. It seemed, at times, he looked like he was worried as to whether he’d get out of there alive! Rightfully so.

          Comparing these styles, Lisa’s seemed outdated. Her time was up. She should’ve left with just a “so long…its been a great ride.” Shame on the brass for not faking it a little. They seem good at it.

          1. LL apparently refused Bells offer to offer her side of the story. She supposedly balked at the conditions Bell wanted. She timed her response to precisely arrive at the same time Bell announced Omar Sachedina (sp) as her replacement thus sinking him on the spot.

            Nine days from now nobody outside of the media will remember anything about LL.

And this is a headline that confirms the Hollywood set just don’t grok “get woke, go broke” – for those who do, the true lesson of Batgirl’s cancellation is that Hollyweirdos need to make movies the AUDIENCE supports.

    Maverick showed how – Batgirl showed how not. Wonder if She-Hulk is gonna’ end up swirling down the same toilet bowl as Batgirl, for the same reason – place yer bets…

  16. I amuse myself following polls at 338Canada https://338canada.com/
    Over the last month The conservative/lib lead in projected seats dropped from 146/129 to 136/133. My first thought was that the longer Trudeau is hidden the more popular he is. Second observation is that the last poll was a Leger poll taken Aug 6 with no updates since. So how does every Sunday show a closer race when the poll numbers don’t change? Its a miracle of statistics.
    Also it should be noted that 338Canada is run by the CBC.

    With Krysten Wong-Tam moving up from City Councillor to an Ontario MPP, I guess there isn’t anybody to suggest the equitable solution that they could lower the “overrepresented” “Black and Indigenous people” by randomly accusing old white men to charge with fare evasion whether they were guilty or not.
