Former US President Donald Trump has said his Florida home is being raided by the FBI.

Mr Trump said in a statement Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach was being “occupied by a large group of FBI agents”.

Neither the FBI or Department of Justice have commented on the reported raid. It is unclear what might have prompted any search warrant.

Mr Trump is currently the focus of a congressional inquiry into last year’s US Capitol riot.

According to CNN, Mr Trump was in Trump Tower in New York City at the time of Monday’s reported raid.

“These are dark times for our Nation,” Mr Trump’s statement began.

Well, that should fire up the base.

  28. Many years ago I stated that the Liberals and Democrats were nothing more than NAZIs in clown suits. The clown suits disguised and covered up the Hugo Boss uniforms and the NAZIs that wore them and now the clown suits have been removed. Trump was the most investigated president in American history before and during his administration. Millions of dollars and untold hours of investigation and they found nothing to charge him with. The action tonight is nothing more than an unabashed effort to intimidate every American that voted for him in 2020, all 74 million of them. Therein lies the problem. Seventy-four million well armed Americans have just been told by the party that supports BLM and Antifa that they will stop at nothing to retain the power that they have stolen. A raid conducted by the national law enforcement agency into the home of a retired president is nothing short of what the NAZIs did to gain control of Germany in the Thirties.
    We now have the formation of a perfect storm in the global community and make no mistake this is by no means a coincidence. A population brainwashed by its government into thinking a bad flu season was going to kill a large percentage of the population so a massive injection program was launched which is proving to be much worse than a bad flu season and it was accompanied with a lockdown program that crashed the economy. Then an orchestrated mini-war bought and paid for by the Democrats in Washington. The same Democrats that abandoned 80 billion dollars worth of arms to a third world country that is aligned with, arguably, a country that maybe on equal armament footing with America. Said country is making overtones to start another, hopefully, mini-war in Asia. To cap these problems we now have these same Democrats attempting to instigate a national uprising by telling us their claim to power was safely and securely assumed in an honest election but are unable to prove that the election was fair and honest. The election was so safe and secure that they are using third world tactics to make sure that there will be no opposition in the next election. Should the seventy-four million Trump supporters engage in the altercation that is being foisted upon them, we will see such a perfect political storm descend on us we will all be cast into an unimaginable dark age. The American Republic cannot defend the American ideal when the security of the American people is under attack from within and without.

  31. I think what we are seeing is fear driven. If Trump survives until the next election and runs it is likely he will be elected. He won’t make the same mistakes twice. The gloves will be off and their will be house cleaning at the FBI , CIA and DOJ. To me it is clear job and pension loss and maybe jail time be the result of any investigations. There is a lot to lose and they know what they have done.
