And yet, as German and Italian public health officials traded accusations about where the first infections had really originated, contact tracers in Italy knew for a fact that Maestri was very far indeed from the origins of the European pandemic – closer to Patient 100,000 than to Patient 1.

By the end of February, the only places the virus is still accelerating, is in the still further outlying regions – places like Como, Mantova and Sondrio. It looks for all the world like the virus had burned through Milan without anybody noticing at all, and when the Tomas Pueyos of the world descended upon us with their mass testing and their lockdowns, they were a few months too late. The hotspots they found were secondary infection sites at best.

By the time pandemicists started rooting through their bag of tricks, the virus had been circulating for months with nobody noticing. This is one of the most crucial and eagerly ignored facts of the whole pandemic. Those early patients were hospitalised at very high rates and – in accordance with Chinese advice – subjected to aggressive mechanical ventilation, which killed a great many of them. Maestri, Patient 1, was a 38 year-old recreational marathoner, and he probably would’ve had far less trouble with SARS-2, had he not made the grave mistake of testing positive. Alas, he almost died after spending weeks on a ventilator.

    The idiotic responses to it and the public’s uncritical acceptance of pure anti-scientific bullshit sure does.
    Same with their Lord Of The Flies response to anyone who refuses to join their mob and cult.

    1. Covid never scared me either; it’s made me mad as hell! This is week two of Covid for me and I feel like I’ll never be well again. So much needless suffering because we are denied effective treatments. Pure evil.

      1. Just recovering from a 2 wk ‘cold’ myself. Last one, pre-pandemic was a really terrible flu in the early Winter of 2019 that lasted a long time. I took meds off-the-shelf and both times I took it easy and slept a lot. One has to eat, though little appetite for it. You’ll get better, despite yourself, hon. You have to.

        As for myself. I’m thinking why bother going to see a Physician ever again.

          I had Covid January 2020…rough for 3 weeks. Doctors thought it was pneumonia. I used my normal non-pharmaceutical cocktail. Now I have good supply of ivermectin.

          Four months ago I went cold turkey on all my meds. Insulin, BP meds….
          Within a week, my blood sugar was 5-6, on meds 8-10.
          BP- 115/75
          On meds…
          135/90

          4 months 60 pounds down
          No meds

          No more doctors or Big Pharma for me!

          2. Inspiring story. I use fresh garlic to help stabilize blood sugars. Works pretty well. 2-3 cloves with cream cheese on Melba each a.m. I too wish Kate a quick recovery. Our medicsl people have betrayed us.

          3. Oh how I wish I could get off diabetes meds. How do you do it Peter? If I go off meds my sugars skyrocket into the 30s.

            I had COVID in August of 2020, along with pneumonia. COVID wasn’t bad, recovered in a week but the pneumonia knocked me for a loop.

            Other than diabetes my health is good, BP is low, heart is in great shape and I’m not overweight.

        The key is never get tested. The false positives from the test are at 90%. The CEO of the company that produces the PCR test says the test does not indicate viral load…..so can’t tell you if have it or not.

  5. I recall noting at the time that Italy has a very large number of elderly people who smoke like chimneys; and that compared to the influenza death tolls of the previous years the death & hospitalization rates from Kung Flu were statistically indistinguishable.

  8. The modern “science” of virology has parallels with witchcraft.

    No one knows they have an issue until they are notified. After which they are given a remedy that often kills them quickly.

    And it has long been my contention that the former is junk science and has always been known to be junk science by those at the top of pharmakeia. Which actually means sorcery.

    And the anti-Christian Roman Catholic cult was behind the former, and I contend they’ve also behind the latter and have just wrapped the former in sciencey-sounding language.

  9. One of my best friends is the head of the COVID ward at a MAJOR Canadian hospital. She has a lot of stories. Too much to get into right now.

    I agree that for most COVID is nothing. And authorities became a bunch of unscientific jackbooted dicks. But this was a huge huge deal and created enormous health care issues and it is dangerous to be too dismissive or to oversimplify.

    1. It’s also dangerous to dismiss effective early treatments out of hand, like ivermectin and HCQ. But the medical authorities did just that, preferring DEATH to ill patients, rather than realize these were both harmless meds with a long term history of usage. When the choice is either:
      A- they might die if we do nothing.
      B- they might survive if we try this,
      Then you try the safe meds to avoid patients from DEATH.
      The medical community CHOSE DEATH. That’s effectively murder.
      Sorry, but by and large, “our” doctors have failed miserably, as has the entire hierarchy of government health “authorities”.

  11. 2 Americans died of massive lung failure in late summer 2019, or early fall. I believe those were to first to died of identifiable SARS 2 in the USA. Also anti bodies for SARS 2 were found in blood sample of cancer patients in Italy, those samples were drawn in aug 2019. But Jamie in the first post here identifies the real problem, inability of “experts” and officials to admit error!
    At least liar elliot here in Ontario did not run for re-election this last time, because she knew she was lying, and she knew we knew she was lying.
    Also there was much $$$$$$ palm greasing by the pharmaceuticals.

    and what I have concluded from what I have learned from my massive quantity of reading from sources that are reliable such as smalldeadanimals is that pretty much everything the left supports, promotes, or imposes is based on lies and/or is a scam.

    Just an example from almost 30 years ago,

    in the 1990s every freakin leftist was repeating that if coffee farmers in south america were forced to lower their prices, and become poorer than they already were , it was because of the evil Americans….the evil Americans who cared more about profit than about poor people of south america…

    then a few years later the truth came out ; the actual reason was that nations such as Vietnam had gotten into growing coffee and were so good at it, they could sell it at lower prices than south american farmers

    it had NOTHING to do with americans being heartless and evil.

    1. I expect a person could write books with endless examples of leftist lies, scams distortions. I think a prime example at the moment is human caused climate change. Humans do not control the climate. It’s absurd, but look at all the believers.
