  1. Of course, the government wants the land of the farmers. After all, by 2030, they have to own nothing and be happy about it.

That statement by Schwabbo wasn’t just a boast: it was a warning. Remember what Stalin did to the farmers in the Soviet Union? Collectivization worked out so well, didn’t it?

    1. BAD – I read this morning in SDA about a tweet that caused anxiety (for trans people/ supporters)). This video by the Dutch farmer caused me anxiety. The Liberals and NDP only want to reduce fertilizer use by 30% in Canada by 2030. The reasons are probably similar to those mentioned by the Dutch farmer, to eliminate animal husbandry.

      1. This is going to get done.

The farmers will not mount a resistance.

        Get your seed potatoes ready.

    2. In the mid 1930 s Hitler was talking about transitioning Germany to achieve the “Great Reich” the great reset is starting to look like a replay and our fearless leader cannot wait to become Emperor.

    3. They also want something else. They want the WEALTH of farmers. The ultra conservative farmers I know (relatives) in Oregon are multi-multi millionaires. They became such because they all have Masters Degrees in Ag. and they are true innovators and high level thinkers … not to mention they worked their asses off for 50 years to build their farms.

It’s the same with the fossil fuel industry. The Left viscerally HATES capitalism and the people who get wealthy from providing needed goods and services. They only want people to get wealthy by virtue of their positions in The Politburo or their GS pay grade in the Deep State bureaucracy. They only want to advance the careers and pay for USELESS bureaucrats like that Fugly Trans “Admiral” of something. It gets a GIANT paycheck from your tax dollars for what? Showing up on TV repeatedly and telling everyone to wear a mask in his best fake-woman vocal tones? The Left wants to reward compliance with the State … nothing else.

BTW … just looking at Quick Dick McDick’s spread and equipment suggests he’s a multi-multi millionaire. Guess the safflower business is hella strong?

      1. I’ve long suspected that the left considers legitimately earned wealth as theft.

      2. Once you start down this path, there’s no wealth to be had. Presumably, the Zimbabwean government thought they were going to grab the wealth of their country’s farmers but instead they wound up with vast areas of arid land and one tenth of the previous output.

        1. The farms were seized as payment to all those “war veterans” who fought the Rhodesian government. It was interesting to not that many of those “veterans” weren’t even born when Mugabe took power.

  2. Didn’t i read somewhere a tagline, WE NEED A GOOD FAMINE. Like it or not, the brain trust behind the enemy is determined to unleash one upon us. Culture of death, coming out in the open. The enemy has come into the world to steal, kill and destroy. Snarky comments in echo chambers ain’t going to do much to turn back the enemy. It is an irrational, spiritual warfare.

    1. Yes it does. What these ignorant fools really mean is an oxide of nitrogen (there are three types: N2O, NO & NO2, I think they are referring to N2O). It is the same as referring to CO2 as carbon.

I propose therefore, using the same “thinking”, that henceforth we refer to water as hydrogen.

          1. Yup. It’s a dangerous substance. It corrodes metals. It permeates our bodies to the point that we freely excrete it now. Inhaling it is fatal. It’s in the food we eat and the air we breathe.

It’s enough to make Climate Barbie panic.

          2. But, but, no more home brewskis?
            But…like wow..no more home brewskis!
That ain’t gonna sit too well with some.

          3. I guess that means we homebrewers would actually have to use what horses produce. That won’t make much difference as some people figure what we make tastes like it anyway.

        1. BADR

One judgement I heard was “When you hear that someone has started home brewing stay well clear of the first two batches and be very sceptical of the third”.

          It wasn’t about mine.

          1. Not mine, either. My first two batches turned out OK, and after I finished making the third one, I got many of the bugs in the process worked out.

In all the years that I’ve been homebrewing, I chucked out two batches and, each time, I had just started them. Those were a result of my carelessness and the last failure was more than 20 years ago.

  3. HRH will be gone before .gov takes away their chiens-chaud, hoy- doigs, ‘amburger, frites/poutine– deese are da national dishes dere! Tabarwhet. Maybe the Bank guy will be in by then. Let him do the dirty.

    So where’s da beef?
Les petit restos will stay open. Why, in Quaybeckie, of course. You’ll go there on vacation. Mmm, sniff, steak too. The restos in Outremont will remain open and well supplied.

Can’t have everyone flying in to Puerto Rico, you know.

    1. Ah, so we peasants are allowed to only sniff the steaks. The elite, those who are so much greater than us, get to eat them.

  4. How much Canadian farm land is already owned by the chicoms? All the numbered companies and corporations with strange names you see on county maps. They have significant land holdings.

    1. Canada pension plan went into buying farmland 10 or so years ago. Found out it is only worth investing long term with value increasing due to inflation. They got out. Ontario Teachers Pension fund is still an active owner. Rent the land back at 3% of purchase price. Farmer who rents the land is ruining the soil. So much for sustainability and ESG and all that other blarney.

    2. L – Vancouver already is a colony of China, prima facie. How much Canadian farmland is
owned by China via proxy ?

Trudeau’s Agricultural policy is to bankrupt/force as many native born Canadian farmers off the land, as possible. The proxy purchasers will raise, grow, rail and sail to the mainland. The without a trace of it being eaten by, produced by or sold to Canadians.

He admires China for it’s basic dictatorship, as they turn our economy around on a renminbi.
