  1. You should be asking what expectations this Pope Visit was supposed to achieve.
It certainly didn’t work out well at all as the Pope is actually contemplating on retirement.
That massive crowds and extra booked areas for overflow didn’t happen.
People lining the streets didn’t happen…hmmm…something must be wrong…

  2. Facebook covering Biden’s posterior is just another example of the coming together of the state and all other institutions exemplifying Mussolini’s definition of Fascism. This has also allowed the institutionally dominant to revive their own version of the worst aspects of McCarthyism with the blacklisting and cancel culture. Western progressives of the 1930s supported much of the rise of Nazi Germany (P.E.T.?). It took WW2 for that to end with bifurcation to support of communists (and CCF) or mushy Liberals and Progressive Conservatives. History has repeated.

  3. Kamala Harris:

“We are in a precession, not a recession, cause a recession is where you recess, but when you precess it’s a precession, not a recession.”

  4. Regardless what it’s called, the US economy is contracting; and despite Biden’s frantic claims about job growth, the total number of people currently working is only 140,000 more than the same metric prior to the Wuhan Plague.

The 3,000 miles I have to drive this week will cost twice what it did the day The Big Guy was inaugurated.

  5. It’s a recession when it’s so bad that you have to find a recess in the wall and hide in it. If it goes on so long that it makes you endlessly sad it’s a depression. If you then fling yourself out the window and land on nice springy asphalt, that’s a rebound.

  6. Recessions only happen when Conservatives/Right wingers are in power. Never, ever happens when leftists and liberals are at the helm.

  7. “Everything is getting better, each and every day.”

and I laughed and I laughed and I laughed.
