   That makes her very qualified …according to leftists.

   In fact those are the only requirements for leftists to either elect you or hire you to a big job;
   Be of the correct gender,
   Be of the correct color
   Be of the correct sexual orientation.

   Competence is at the bottom of the list… if it is even considered.

   Chicago is run by something they call the “Combine.” This is a cooperative venture between politicians. the Catholic Church, the police department, and the Outfit. (“Outfit” is Chicago’s name for Cosa Nostra.)

   Lori Lightfoot is such a volcanic example of corruption and incompetence that there is simply no way to rationally understand why she is in her position.

   She is obviously juiced in.

   Politicians have been installed by malevolent forces in Chicago for decades. You’ll recall they recently had two governors in jail at the same time, the last one guilty of trying to sell a senate seat.

   My best thinking is that Lori Lightfoot is there to keep the enormously profitable drug trade from being compromised. Those kids who keep killing each other in Chicago could be stopped by implementing the right policies and enforcing them. So why doesn’t it stop?

   Insane profits are being made bu the forces bringing the drugs into those neighborhoods for street gangs to sell and fight turf wars over.

   My best bet is that enormously wealthy people would find their revenue stream diminished if Lori were not there to ensure the enterprise is not disturbed.
