    Watching today’s leaders is a lot like watching footage of leaders from the 30s. Hitler and Mussolini looked like clowns with their overacting. But they were competent enough to unleash he most horrific evils.

    Today’s leaders have the same quality — clown-like and infantilized idiots, all of them. But they sure seem intent on releasing the same evils.

    What is doing this? What causes leaders to go insane like this? And what causes so much of the public to fall for it? Big and hidden money — the age-old conspiracy theories around Illuminati and controlling families and all that — is entirely possible. But I have to wonder if there is something like a brain or nervous system parasite that’s usually dormant but comes out to play every few generations. Toxoplasma gondii writ large and particularly psychotic? Could it be something like that? I have a hard time believing that so many people can be so willfully stupid at the same time.

    1. I minored in Classical Studies and what’s happening now is eerily similar to the final days of the Roman Empire. There need be no massive cabal of conspiracists pulling strings behind everything. That’s a comfortable lie, the opposite of the interventionist God who will answer our prayers if we just live righteously enough. As humans we need there to be a reason for things, a simple reason, a sensible reason but the truth is that we are tribal, hierarchical social primates evolved for living in small groups and chasing down large ungulates on the savannahs of the world. That is the natural state of mankind and the creation of civilization is hard, a learned skill that needs to be mastered and passed on to each generation.

      1. The current generation of tribes can’t be bothered to preserve the incredible standard of living they’ve inherited. Because preserving it requires participation. Work. Contribution. Instead, like petulant children, they want to “tear it all down ma’aaaan”. “Come on ma’aaan”. They mock every convention and sneer at all the “straights” … all the “breeders” … all the “cis’s” … all the conservatives. Since they won’t work to achieve what you have … they’ll simply steal it, tax it, transfer it … they’ll demand “reparations” and “equity”. Again … no contribution to society … just TAKING STUFF … which will crash the whole system.

        Yes, we can lose our countries, our culture, our wealth … everything. And then just pray our ChiCom overlords are benevolent

  15. The idiocy of the politicians leading us makes a lot of sense if you see them for what they are – puppets.

    They are the people who were selected to hold their positions, but they have no real power. They are simply puppets who are handed scripts to read, and occasionally to act out, a la AOC and her invisible handcuffs.

    Most of those on “the right” and even some on “the left” can see that something is wrong with this picture, but most conclude that these people are simply stupid/incompetent. Which isn’t incorrect per se…

    But those who write their bills and hand them their marching orders are far from stupid. And they are part of the same organization behind every government. And if you need a clue as to who these people are, it is instructive to see what their puppets have in common. Virtually all of the top positions in government and every alphabet agency can be tied to the same secret societies, are educated by the same group of universities, and belong (overtly or covertly) to the same religion.

    For the Christians out there, Deuteronomy 28 might help explain why we are ruled by our enemies.

  18. Normally one does not hear pronouns that are gendered referring to themselves. In polite company it is preferred to use the persons name when referring to someone in their presence. When not in Harris’s presents it is normal for people to refer to her in the second person as that ugly bitch slut. Also there is a second person non-gendered pronoun – “it.” Why re-invent the wheel? End of today’s English lesson.
