Many thanks to the people and friends on this website that I come for some sanity, guidance and advice.
I may kiss a tree…don’t know yet…
I certainly am enjoying the beautiful scenery and friendly animals that visit me daily for a few peanuts.
From Bluejays, to Squirrels and Chipmunks that run up my leg daily, it’s truly nice to enjoy being in Canada.
The country. I have alot of tree canopy here along with a lake close by that I can walk to.
I’m not a tree hugger but respect the resources we have.

I keep being reminded of the “genocide” every time I drive to and from northern B. C.
About an hour’s travel from Edmonton, a few minutes from Gunn, one passes by a PetroCan station at a place called Nakota Crossing. It’s close to the Alexis reserve, so I assume that it’s native-run.
On the grass strip between the station and the highway, someone erected a large sign which says only “10000”. In addition, the grass is covered by strips of orange fluorescent tape staked to the ground.
