    The real issue is this: under Stehphen Harper his government brought in the Financial Accountability Act to clean up the huge pilfering going on in the reserves. Justin Trudeau promised to get rid of the Act if the Liberals took over, which he did. So Indian pilfering started up again, even at the AFN. Ms. Archibald started to investigate the pilfering, so now she’s booted out.

    I wouldn’t care so much, but Indians get a huge amount of federal taxpayer subsidies, some of which is being stolen. Note that the national media refuse to investigate the sleaze.

    2. There is an estimated 1.5 million aboriginals, say 2 million if you include the Metis. With the number of new immigrants brought in every year, they are being replaced every 3–4 years.
      I used to care about them in the 60’s, 70’s, maybe even into the 80’s. When the early 90’s recession hit me “good and hard”, I stopped caring about anybody else other than my family and myself. I wonder if other people feel the same way.

This First Nations debacle has been around for more than 60 years and quite frankly will NEVER be resolved. Harper had the right idea but the lies, misinformation and blockades put up to stop it were monumental. Some members of the Liberal Party and the Chiefs even said it was their money and not ours. The native Chief from the Indian band in northern Ontario a couple of years ago who was on a hunger strike beside the Ottawa river in Ottawa is a classic example of how the Country is being held captive by a small group of malcontents who only have their best interest at heart. They care nothing about the members of their own community , IT’S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. The sooner we all realize “WE the general public” have created this problem and are too afraid to face that fact, and don’t realize that throwing money at the problem will not make it go away, this will only fester and get worse. Just remember the Liberals always need an oppressed or victim to go and save, weather real or imagined…S

    6. AFN and whatever they call the federal dept. nowadays exist solely for the benefit and enrichment of the chiefs and Ottawa bureaucrats. Nobody cares about the rest of them. Those who choose to remain on reserves at this point are only doing it to themselves.

It’s a shame he doesn’t get more exposure, especially given his past as a commie – as he knows today’s commies (Democrats) are no different from his former fellow travelers.     I used to think the “College of Physicians and Surgeons “ did more than just protect pedophiles, that they would rein in their colleagues if they got too Josef Mengele on patients, I was wrong.

    1. By the all-too familiar tropes of history repeating in the “trans” movement from the eugenics movement of the early 1900s, it is terrifying how movements based on pseudoscience can get rolling and only stop when horrific damage is incurred.

      This will be remembered as no different than than the eugenics movement when all is said and done. Mark my words.

  6. This idea that governments can ‘fix the planet’ is ridiculous. For ex Canadian gov can’t do basic stuff (passports). How on Earth they gonna solve complex issues at planetary scale?

      1. They could have just purchased an off the shelf system which is likely what the initial IBM system more or less was. Basic payroll is one of the simplest calculations known to man. The only issue is scaling it for hundreds of thousands of employees. I suspect the government demanded complexity such as breaking each hour into tiny blocks and allocating it to 30,000 cost centres plus 100 other bells and whistles that the project crept beyond the ability of programmers willing to sell their soul to the government.

        I remember back about 20 or so years ago a new British University was founded to offer online programs at a time when such things were just getting started. They were budgeted with something like 30 or 60 million Pounds to get started all of which they blew through to create a custom program to run the coursework. In the meantime they enrolled only something like 300 students. They never did get the program running and the British government wisely decided to not throw good money after bad. A big whack of other schools used a free software program to do the same thing – Moodle. I’ve taken courses on the Moodle platform and they work like a damn. I wish I could remember the name of the school. What it all comes down to is by put effing idiots in charge of a program they are more likely to frig it up than not. The thing to bear in mind when considering big in-house government projects is that only retards work for government.

Of course, if he’d been at home with his wife instead of running around he wouldn’t have left himself open to attack on that front. That’s how they work, you can get away with anything until you become inconvenient, then they use your previously ignored (if not outright encouraged) transgressions against you.

  13. We’ve created a culture where sex is just for fun, and where parent-hood is a route to free income for mothers and slavery for fathers. Even in ‘good’ marriages, the woman has the right at any moment to toss the man out on his ear and deprive him of contact with his children, all while claiming the lion’s share of his income. And in our current culture, when the going gets tough, divorce sounds like a great win to many modern women. Why Not? Take him for all he’s worth. Sit back and enjoy the cashflow. If the govvy wants to encourage fatherhood, they should make fatherhood less of a losing game for men.
