The only reason the establishment is pretending to view the Democrat-appointed January 6 committee as legitimate, much less important, is to cover up what a mess the 2020 election was and to get their nemesis out of politics. I have heard hatemongering of Trump on CBC Radio that was so over-the-top it would make CNN or MSNBC blush.
What is interesting is that the corrupt CBC News shows the U.S. January 6 hearings live, but refuse to show any live coverage of the House of Commons Emergency Act hearings. This is beyond the pale, even for the CBC.
7 employees of the colbert show have been arrested for trespassing into congress. Apparently let in by Schiff. Let the Republican show trial begin this fall. Clearly, Colbert and Schiff were collaborating in a plot to overthrow the govt.

You’re sadly mistaken if you think that there will even be a defense presented. It is, after all, a Stalinist show trial, isn’t it? Defenses aren’t allowed! The man is guilty until they can prove that he’s guilty, then he’s not merely guilty, but *proven* guilty!
There’s a method to their madness…Dems want something out of this when they’re done. My guess is to make sure Trump doesn’t run in 2024 first and foremost, and somehow do an end run around the electoral college which they’ve been whining about since Hillary lost in 2016. Constitutional amendments are a tough nut to crack but there are ways to circumvent the process. I’ve seen this posited once or twice and it makes sense.

If a ‘Trump-inspired’ red wave of Republicans are elected this mid-terms, the ‘deep state’ know they would have a reckoning coming. The entrenched far-left and their elitist masters simply cannot afford to let that happen.
Fortunately (for them), the Dems have the Dominion voting machines working on their behalf. I continue to be convinced that the 2020 election was won by fraud. The “show trial” is just further evidence that they need to hide something — and of course, destroying Trump ( after several spectacular failures) is the icing on the cake. Though it is likely they will fail again. Too many people have figured out they are being manipulated.

What remains unreported is the fact that 55% of U.S. voters believe that the election was tainted. This includes 35% of Democrats. Rasmussen polls this regularly and the number of distrusting folks is growing, not shrinking.
The Jan 6 protesters genuinely believed that they were protecting democracy, not subverting it.
When the Republicans take over these committees after November, the payback will be spectacular!

The Democrats have committed electoral suicide by letting the left fringe control border policy, critical race theory, defund the police, identity politics, uncontrolled mail-in voting with no ID requirements, etc., policies. Combine that with Biden’s senilty, Afghanistan pull-out disaster, inflation, gas prices, baby formula shortages, etc.
On the other side, Republicans who believe in election integrity are gaining traction in a number of states to replace RINO’s. All it will take is one legitimate audit of the 2020 election to get the ball rolling. We may be closer than we think.
Yes, that may be an optimistic view, but there’s better than a zero percent probability of a radical flip to a Republican administration who learned from Trump’s mistakes in the swamp draining business.
