The gentleman asking the questions should have reviewed the parliamentary tapes and quoted from them, giving them back to Freeland chapter and verse with dates and times – in the form of a question, of course, so as not to violate the stupid and precarious rules. If he had done that, then all she would have been let with is “I don’t remember” which would have been a clear admission of guilt. He didn’t do his homework and she wiggled away with the help of the chair of the committee as expected. He could also have had the tape ready to play as proof. He could have nailed her hide to the wall, but didn’t learn his lesson.

    And in the end, we had to listen to this insufferable bitch dodge, weave and obfuscate for nothing.
