Tuesday On Turtle Island

Another day, another name change.  Churchill River to get Innu name.

Someone left the gate open.  Inmates flee the island prison of New Zealand.

How many people does it take to raise a flag?  Trudeau has problems raising the Liberal Party flag.  The NDP explains racism.  And leftist teachers.

Hillary Clinton endorses a communist group.  Dementia Joe’s new press secretary.

More Liberal lies.

Some news about global warming.  No, its not a picture of Justin at your morning meme.

  1. This beautiful Tuesday morning features a new price of 2.189 for a liter of regular unleaded at my neighborhood petrol station.
    Good and hard.

    1. My aunt on Vancouver Island told me it’s $2.60 in the Nanaimo area and $2.85 in Vancouver.

Since Lotuslanders want sooooooo much to “save the planet”, make ’em pay for it–good and hard.

  2. ‘GOOD MORNING VIETNAM!’
Ops, sorry…a brain fart when I realized that I’m trapped in Trudeauland.
No…Hi ho, hi hoe. Off to work I go… as it’s illegal to do anything off my property without my proper papers.

Was thinking this morning back in the day, that when you weren’t bulletproof in the Military, you had to be alot smarter in using the brain pan.

  3. Why do the towns created by white people get Eskimo names. Why don’t they give Eskimo created towns Eskimo names. What do you mean there were no Eskimo created towns? Are Innu Indians, not Eskimos? Same deal.

    1. And they use the English alphabet to spell their Innu. Often in non-syllabic ‘words’ with 30 or more letters that are undecipherable and to a non-Innu, non-sensical.

  4. Translated to “Grand River”?
Fine, I’m good with that, put it to a vote on the next election, ….next.

  5. The ANC is changing the name of Port Elizabeth to Gqeberha. Even South Africans are struggling with the pronunciation.

  6. Sophie swears that Juthtin got it up three times during their marriage.

K-becers have a sign calling the Ottawa River the Outaouais. I don’t care what those peckerwoods call it and I don’t care what stone age people call anything. But you can’t give them enough money to make them call it quits.

  7. Inmates fleeing NZ…?? no sooprise there.

I’m betting that if Canada Ever opens up there will be a flood of folks heading to FLA. The wife n I may damned well join em. We will have a garage sale: Anything to do with Cold weather.

    1. If it wasn’t for a fear of the All Blacks and the warm glow of the ‘ANZAC Spirit’ we would throw rocks at New Zealand.

New Zealand is a basket. Their economy is basically sheep, Hobbits and Tourism.
The Hobbits left the tourists were locked out and the only reason the sheep are still there is they can’t swim that well.
Back in mid 2020 when we all still believed the curve would be flattened in two weeks.. three weeks… a month… their PM actually stood up and stated that the Australian economy would be rebuilt using NZ skills and labour. She literally stated that her plan for NZ unemployment was to become a labour hire service for Australia.

Also note there is no NZ in AUKUS.

Lets be honest here, Trevor Chappell did nothing wrong.

  8. Just be done with it and change the names of every town and city. Vancouver? I kind of like Bancouver or Chief Grey Rocks; Victoria? Camosun; Vancouver Island – Chief Eater of the Lotus Seed; Yonge St? Spirit of the Centre of the Universe; Ottawa – Outawais or Chief Gaylord of Disneyland North; and many of our street names with memorable names such as Lu-waa-ky,no,no wet my pants land. And on and on she goes. Hey, we are already the laughing stock of the world, we might as well be good for something.

    1. Apparently the world was heaven on earth until whitey showed up and modernized the place………

    2. According to the link below, an estimated 5,000 Canadians suffer from sickle cell anemia.

I am not suggesting that this health problem is not serious nor deserving of attention from the medical community.

I am suggest that the NDP are pack of lying, grifting, mooching groomers who use black people to further their ends.

    3. Who do I get to blame then? I have Thalassemia, which is predominantly a black person’s disease.

  9. Add a *&^%$@! Trudeau or two to that list.

“The bill, which DeSantis signed along with two street designations in honor of Cuban exiles, would require the instruction to begin in the 2023-2024 school year. It would require teaching of Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong and Fidel Castro, as well as “poverty, starvation, migration, systemic lethal violence, and suppression of speech” endured under those regimes.”

    1. Well, if the truth was taught about the evil that each person represented, with graphics of the millions killed, yes, it would be worth teaching. Ignoring the evil and not telling the truth about it is why we are where we find ourselves. Nothing good about any of those evil bastards.

  10. Just to be clear, David Seymour (NZ politician, leader of the ACT Party) was one of the most fanatically totalitarian voices for border closures, lockdowns and mandates. He loved to scapegoat the unvaccinated – some of the language he used was chilling.

So for him to know do a 180 and blame everything on Jacinda Ardern is rich. Very rich.

  11. So were the Innu the only tribe in the area? Shouldn’t the river have seven or eight different names?
