    Why would I be scared of the Government cracking down on “hate speech” on line? Because no where in that document is “hate speech” defined. The term is nebulous, so the government can therefore define ANYTHING as “hate speech”, including my references to our Crime-Minister as “the turd.”

    We no longer have free speech in Canada, but by now, I would expect you all to come to see that as “old news.”

    1. In a free country you are. Try anti war protests during the Viet Nam war. I would hope that opposing a war ones country is engaged in would be permitted in a free country, as would proclaiming the facts as you see them. The alternative seems to be following the dictates of one’s government no matter what they are.
      Without presuming to know the actual truth of the situation (as some here do in this case) it would seem to me that this video is glorifying totalitarianism.

      2. Sorry, John. Stuff like this isn’t so clear cut in times of war. Didn’t the allies encode instructions in their broadcasts into Germany’s resistance during WWII? Agreed that people should be free to voice opinion in matters of their country’s affairs, but what if there were instructions embedded in the communications directed to the enemy that would actually go against the country’s war effort?

        That would be considered treasonous.

        So you would have to look at what was said in the communication and how that communication was disseminated. Context matters, therefor one should not judge too quickly.

        Now I’m gonna hear rebuttals that I’m somehow a Nazi sympathizer, because I’m criticizing the ally war effort. Of course, that would be completely missing the point of what I’m trying to say, which is that in war, you must do what you must to defend your country’s interest. I would expect no less from my country, and I wouldn’t expect anything less from my enemy.

        And no, I’m not criticizing what the allies have done. I would have done exactly the same thing. Churchill did some pretty horrible things during the war. It took balls to do what he felt he had to do to win it, and we are all better off that he did win it.

I’m sure that there are many living in the western hemisphere, born and raised, and may have never even heard of the IDF (Israel Defense Force.         Having said that, I’m not buying the argument that Zelensky cannot be a Nazi because he claims to be Jewish. Jews who are serious about their faith wouldn’t go around parading in cross-gender get-ups in some sort of dance number in a comedy sketch. And those that are not can just about be anything, yes, including a neo-Nazi.

            In reality, Azovs are courageous heroes defending the country from the vilest of scum. The fact that they draw on symbology from mythicized WWII formations is of little relevance here.

  23. Russia might have had wider sympathy if they had just sent in troops to the eastern enclaves but even that is technically a violation of international law (not the same as the NWO). Most of their operations elsewhere in Ukraine, call them as they might a “special operation” amount to war crimes against innocent civilians. I am not a supporter of globalism or the NWO but I don’t see how ordinary residents of Ukraine are any more a legitimate target for Russian military operations than we are. If Russia doesn’t want to be part of the globalist club, fine, no arguments here, but shelling civilian targets at random in Ukraine is not a good way to argue against globalism. In fact it makes our political task a lot more difficult and gives additional powers to our own globalist regimes.

    As to what the Ukrainian police or army are doing about Russian collaborators, that is understandable and I don’t see it as some extension of my internet freedom to criticize climate fraud, the “globohomo” agenda as some call it, or anything else largely unrelated. Just because Vlad Putin has made serious errors in logic does not mean we also have to do so. The road to hell is paved with good intentions and in Russia most roads appear to be unpaved. The sooner this mess is sorted out and Russian military units return to Russian territory, the better. It can always spiral out of control into something far worse, have you looked at a map and checked out the neighbours?

    Hands up if you even heard of Transnistria before this started, and now it becomes part of this background noise about a wider war. I can think of a lot of better reasons to die in a nuclear holocaust than to preserve the rights of Transnistria not to be part of Moldova. Well maybe not, there are no good reasons to die in a nuclear holocaust. This is the whole problem with the NATO involvement, one wrong move and ka-boom, sure Russia will lose-lose and we will only lose. Bully for us. Try exercising your internet freedoms in a post-nuclear age. You’ll be lucky to get hooked back up by 2035 if you survive it.

    Now I don’t really think that it would come to nuclear war. This is probably going to get settled fairly soon and Russia will be confined to small portions of the territory they have their eyes on. It will be a pretty worthless victory for them but something they might be able to spin out at least at home, or if they visit Q Anon websites where they have a bit of a following.
